Hey guys, I am using the Asus RT-N66u router and my 180mb dl and 25mb up connection grinds to a halt and ping is anywhere from 65-80ms to the Miami Server (I live 30 mins driving from there) in the early am EST typically. This ONLY happens when I am running through the router. If I connect directly from my ARRIS Surfboard SB6141 I am getting a normal ping and speeds from my speed tests. I have QoS settings disabled. Firewall Settings on. Not really sure what to do. The router is quite old, could it just be failing? In short STRAFING is key, strafe up/down/left/right in coupled mode to avoid being hit as well as putting yourself in position to hit a ship more often (you want to be above the ship where you can see the most of it). After that missles! Use them only when you have done damage through the sheild or they are a bit of a waste. To avoid being hit, barrel rolls seems to be working well these days. To avoid missles that are coming at you head on strafe left or right away from them until they are behind you and then flare (you might have to quarter yaw away a bit to get ur butt towards the missle). Always boost into your strafes as well. just the stuff that comes to mind!

Dont fret over hangars, especially that one...It doesnt feel like a hangar or a home whatsoever, its a hotel lobby. Save your $40 dont melt your lancer!

I see it as motivation for us as well there is no reason at this point with the lobby system incoming why we cannot start organizing, fundraising, and doing more things together here in the near future.

Basically, if you do melt your alpha you will have to pay an additional $15 (5 for AC 5 for FPS 5 For Planetside) as confirmed by Ben Lesnick on Star Cast just hours ago. I cant imagine not having to pay for PU Alpha/Beta as well in the future...I would refrain if at all possible from melting that package as it will cost you in the future.

Does your aurora have alpha access? You really should not melt it if it does as you will not get it back.
