I'm looking for a laptop to use for streaming a few local bands in my area. Ideally I'd have all their instruments and cabinets mic'd running through my audio interface into my DAW, then exporting that sound to OBS, syncing it with the video captured from 2 DSLR cameras(through HDMI capture devices).
The only issue is, I don't really know how much power I need for this? It's gotta be less than streaming a game right? It's not like I'm running Doom at the same time? My DAW (Reaper) isn't much of a resource hog. But how much CPU power does it take to stream two captured 1080p HDMI signals most likely at 60 fps or less? Will having a dedicated GPU help in this? or is it mostly CPU bound? Could Integrated CPU graphics handle this? Are we talking 6th-ish gen i7? Newer gen i5? Ryzen?
This is super new territory for me and I'd just love some input, maybe even some laptop recommendations. Doesn't have to be new if you know of an older model that would suit my needs I wouldn't complain.
