  1. I forgot to mention I also did a system restore before I crashed, but it was to no avail. Eliminating the Logitech theory I suppose.
  2. Yeah my whole build is new. My OS is running on the nvme SSD.
  3. Hey guys, God, where do I start.. I've had my new PC build for about 3 weeks everything was going fine and dandy, untill tonight that is.. Want to give a bit of back story to this situation so you can properly understand what happened. I was playing Apex legends with a mate and everything was FINE. Untill I decided to download Logitech gaming software for my mouse because I wanted to change my dpi, that's when everything went to sh*t I finished installing and then was prompted to restart so I did. After I had changed my dpi and launched Apex legends again I noticed a terrible frame drop, like unplayable, below 10 fps spiking up and down. I have a high end build so this wasn't normal at all. I got out the game and checked my task manager, I noticed my cpu spiking from 5% all the way up to 70% while idling/browsing chrome. (This might be normal I'm not sure) the temperature was normal throughout the whole situation.. That was freakin me out a lot. After running various scans and rapid google searches nothing was working, my PC seemed to be getting worse, Google chrome was lagging opening any program or folder was slow as hell, and then, she crashed and wouldn't boot windows, untill finally the recovery mode kicked in and I was able to do a fresh installation, I'm now back up and running smoothly again. My opinion on this is the nvme SSD is potentially faulty BUT if it really was would it be working fine like it is right now? Probably not. The moral of the story is why the hell did this happen and do you think it could happen again? Surely Logitech didn't cause this... 2:00AM for me in Australia apologies for losing my mind. Nevertheless any and all opinions would be greatly appreciated, thanks guys! WHY GOD WHY?!
  4. Will stick with the 860 then cant go wrong with 1tb. Well thats that then! Thanks @voiha and @GoldenLag
  5. Now that you mention it @voiha I have a pair of WH1000xm3s and would like to connect them to my PC over Bluetooth, what do you think about the MSI MPG Z390 Gaming Pro Carbon AC? I like it ALOT!
  6. Thanks GoldenLag, you're a godsend! What SSD do think I should go with? Doing some research there's so many different types these days, I'm a bit overwhelmed haha
  7. Could you reccomend a similar price ASUS board? What about the ASUS Prime Z390-A? Okay thanks for the information GoldenLag, Think i might stick with Intel though! As i want to order the PC within the next few days
  8. Yeah I was actually wondering about that, I'll change the PSU to a cheaper one and check out the SSD, do you think the nvme is better than SATA? thanks Type 2501
  9. Always stayed away from AMD but thanks guys I'll look into it. As far as I know Intel has always been #1
  10. Hey's fellas! Been out of the PC world for a few years and my PC is terribly outdated. Did you know they have i9s and 2080s now?! what the heck! ? Anyway I've been saving up some money (a lot of money) and this is my new build list. I just wanted your guys opinion on it. If I could save money and keep performance and if everything will be compatible and will hold up with my idea of "trying" to future proof my PC for as long as possible within my $4000 price range. Also hopefully I haven't forgotten a crucial part, finished the build and forgot RAM was a thing.. ? Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2080 Gaming OC 8GB be quiet! I've tried clearing the cache, force stopping and uninstalling. Any suggestions will be appreciated! Thanks! I made a thread the other day asking advice on what phone to get, ended up getting the s6, thanks everyone who replied for your help. Other than this problem its a great phone!
