  1. Yeah, they had a slimmer otterbox called the commuter, i emailed both companies and it looks like i'm SoL. phantom glass said theyre not making a protector for the V20 and otterbox said they're not making a commuter case for the V20. so it looks like i have to look for alternatives for both. Any ideas?
  2. Hey everyone, i recently upgraded from a Note 3 to an LG V20 and the only problem i have with it is the edge of the glass screen. It's kind of sharp and unpleasant to hold so i got an otterbox case for it. except i thought i was getting the Commuter case and instead got the super big bulky one with a built in screen protector (garbage). I loved using the commuter with a Phantom Glass screen protector. But neither of them seem available for my phone. Is it because it's a newish model and i just have to wait for them to come out or is it not a popular model of phone and they skipped over it?

  4. Hey everyone, i was able to successfully use acronis to clone my C drive and make my new 250g drive C. I downloaded it and booted from it's boot disk and was able to get everything working fine!
  5. Hey, sorry i just saw this. I got a Samsung 840 EVO 250g. It came with some software but i was having trouble making it my new C. It just makes it an F drive. I assume i'll have to do it through BIOS but before i wipe my C drive i want to make sure i'm doing it right.
  6. Hey everyone, so Cyber monday was fruitfull and i will be upgrading my SSD's. I currently have x2 60G SSD's in RAID 0 for my C: drive and bought a 256G SSD i plan on making my new C: drive. Now comes the question. I am wondering if there is a tool/utility i could use to copy the content of my current C: drive onto the new SSD and make it my new C: drive. Would this be possible in BIOS(ASUS Sabertooth 990fx R2.0) or even in the OS (Windows 8.1 x64)
  7. Hey everyone, i didn't necessarily mean i was going to "Game" on it, i meant use it in addition to games. Like, they said you're going to be able to modify your ships systems on a tablet (star citizen), and you can play BF4/The Division as commander on the tablet. So i guess gaming wouldn't be my main focus. I'm leaning towards the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 since it's on my carrier and i can finance it.
  8. Hey there everyone, well the winter season is upon us and that means sales on tablets. So I was wanting to know a good tablet to name drop when asked "So Killaconor, what do you want for christmas?". I have a Note 4 (on T-mobile), but I'm looking for a bigger screen. I plan on using it mostly for games like Star Citizen, BF4, and The Division when they come out. But i would also like to be able to take notes on it when needed. I see that T-mobile has a lot to offer and had my eye on the Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 but it's not available on tmobile yet. so i was looking for something similar to that. It doesn't necessarily need to be on tmobile or even use data, I'm mostly going to use it on WiFi anyway. Any thoughts?
  9. Hey everyone. I've been using my G930's pretty heavily for 2 or 3 years now and they're starting to show wear and peel. I think it's time for an upgrade. I would like your opinions on a good WIRELESS headset. Having the multimedia buttons on the side would and a microphone would be a plus. I'd prefer Circumaural for some noise cancellation but other than those, i'm all ears ( get it? it's a pun! )
  10. Hey there again guys, I noticed a lot of people recommending doing an Intel switch but i'm perfectly content with my MoBo and just want to update the CPU and maybe the cooler. I mostly play BF4, Arma 3, DayZ, Payday 2, Fallout. Some of the games are really CPU intensive and i think the upgrade would be a welcome. I'm definitely going to wait until september. Just want some info on the different types. Now i'm leaning again for the 9590 lol
  11. Hey thanks everyone! I agree with most of you and will probably go with an FX-8320 or 50.
  12. Hey there, I currently have a Phenom ll x6 1090t and i think it's time to upgrade. I'm using a ASUS Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131877 And was that the FX series recently went on a price cut. I've had my eyes on the FX-9590 as a replacement and with the price drop i think i should grab it up. What's your opinions on it? I have a Corsair H80 but plan to upgrade to a Cooler Master Glacer 240L because that beast of a CPU and the possibility of expanding a GPU into a future loop. Opinions?
  13. UPDATE: FIXED! I googled if other people were able to find a fix and i did! Kind of! Apparently i was having an issue with 2d browsing. So my fix was to use the ASUS GPU Tweak and hit Advanced then 2D and make the value (300) the same as the 3D value. although i heard that you only have to OC it to 600 i still had some problems with that. Fixed! I just have to launch it everytime i boot the computer and hit load profile. I'm sure there's an easier way to about doing this but i'm fine with it.
  14. yes, the usb3 version. There's only a 4 pin CPU power slot. The first thing i did was update the drivers because the older MoBo was using Windows 7 drivers on Windows 8.1 ( i thought that was the initial problem with the GPU)
