Open control manager>system and security>administrative tools>services and open the application and find windows update service stop it and then start it. hope it works

try restarting the windows update service.

keep in mind the 6700k and 6800k are very different and going with 6800k will likely increase the price of other components. more core = faster rendering times so 6800k is better here if possible to cough up some more dough you should get a 1070 it'll be much better. specify all parts for a more detailed suggestion

don't spend more than 100 on a motherboard for a 600$ budget build.
