  2. Hi everyone, this is my first time here and I want to show you my latest project. Here I present to all of you Project Nightdiver! I've started creating the skeleton of the case, using a premade motherboard base and a PCI bracket. From a sheet af aluminum I've made the other panel and the support for the PSU. Then, I used some iron to create the support fot the two panels. After that, made all the necessary holes and sanded for painting. For the painting, I decided to use a simple black/blue code, in order to follow the colors of the components. Used some plexiglass to make backplates for the GPUs and a front panel to protect the components. Put on the mobo and all the other things. Bended all the tubes... ... and gone through the necessary leak test. And the final result!!! Hope you like it as I enjoyed making it. Have a good modding time you all! See you soon!
  3. @Leonard I've considered the G10 but I think it won't fit (My case is a BitFenix Prodigy). In addition, the part of the G10 with the fan will blow air on nothing since the GTX670 is smaller then the G10 itself and the VRM will not be cooled. I'm trying to find a decent solution to this problem. I don't want to keep the stock cooler because the fan is very noisy and the overall cooling solution seems very cheap.
  4. I have a stock cooler right now. Probably I'll change it with a Corsair Hxx series. Nevertheless my concern is about the vrm. I read they reach very high temps and I'm concerned about that. Will I burn everything if I leave the stock heatsink without fans on it? Changing the heatsink with custom ones will be of any help? Thanks in advance
  5. Dear forum, I have a GTX670 Reference Design with stock cooling. I'm going to remove the stock cooling and put a NZXT Kraken X60 on the GPU and Zalman VGA_Ram Heatsink ZM-RHS1 to cool the 8 RAM chips. I'm leaving the stock heatsink on the VRM chips. My question is: do I need to cool the VRM heatsink with a fan? Can I leave the stock heatsink or should I change it with a custom one? In this case, can you suggest me a good one? Thank you very much, Alessio
  6. Hi, thanks for the reply. I will go with the manual OC. I just was scared of the "no POST thing" believing that something was broken. Hopefully, everything is working and ready to be OC'ed. I'll try to install AI Suite 3 as well. If it's more stable than AI Suite 2, it'd definetely deserve a try . Thank again, Alessio
  7. Hi everybody, I'm having an "issue?" with my Asus P8Z77I-Deluxe motherboard. If I try to switch ON the TPU switch on the motherboard the PC doesn't POST. The red TPU led lights and once pressed the Power button, sometimes the PC doesn't turn on at all, sometimes it powers on but the screen remains blank (no video signal) and after few seconds it reboots (it sounds like the current goes down) and Windows boots up. If I try to shut it down, it does the same thing again. With the switch disabled all issues disappear. I know that almost everywhere is recommended to keep the switch disabled, but I just want to know if my mobo is faulty or not. I'm going to manually overclock the CPU but I'm a little bit scared now that this issue could have consequences on manual OC. This is a list of the hardware I'm using: - Case: Bitfenix Prodigy - Motherboard: Asus P8Z77I-DELUXE - CPU: Intel i5 3570K + Corsair H60 - RAM: Kingston HyperX DDR3 1600MHz CL9 9-9-9-27 2x4GB - GPU: nVidia GTX670 2GB - HDD: Kingston HyperX SSD 120GB, WD Black Scorpio 500GB, Hitachi 120GB - PSU: Corsair GS 700W 80+ Thanks in advance to all, Alessio
