With market recovery appearing to be on the horizon, I'm not sure if there will be any more VAG drops. That said, I'm very glad I wasn't able to get any of the cards through the drops. LTT probably didn't even make enough off those cards to cover their costs, but those cards had to be sold to them at inflated prices. At the beginning of June I grabbed a AMD 6900XT for less than the VAG Asus 6800XT. Recently sensible retailers have been selling 6700XTs for ~1000USD. "Having stock" is moot if you're getting ripped off and being that these crazy prices are most likely from the distributor level, LTT can't really offer better prices than retailers, or anything remotely resembling the actual MSRP.

Amazon is a cesspool of bots. Items are often sold out before the site is able to show them in stock. It doesn't help they drop a single GPU at a time either.

IIRC others have been mentioning up to 10 business days to ship. Sounds like lttstore and their shipper are overwhelmed. Makes sense why they've only been doing 1 drop a week so far.

I'm pretty sure we could make a poll requesting the questions be released after the VAG has concluded. Maybe LTT could even make some kind of board game with them.

I was definitely wrong. Very clever with the voiceover. I've been gaming for almost 30 years and I'm being asked questions about games IDGAF about or know anything about because of this. Not too bothered as I really don't like +50% price over the reference card.

Yes, you are limited to 1 GPU and 1 CPU. They will cancel an orders that exceed either.

It's too late anyways. I was through quiz in less than 30s. Been waiting a few minutes for dropped reservations. Edit: Linus mentioned this was only 30 cards and there's 10k people watching...

Yes, $CAD. The official Amazon listings are at MSRP. As Amazon lists a single card at a time, the scalpers scoop up the cards with bots then relist them with 2-4x MSRP.

Amazon is selling them for $804 but GL beating the bots to them. So less than $100 to actually be able to buy it now isn't horrible IMO. Still better than some of the Newegg prices. Edit: I don't know what the VAG price was.
