  1. need a new pair of headphones for gaming deciding between an ath-adg1 or an ath-ad900x with a modmic on it thoughts?
  2. looking for a nice pair of earbuds for around 100$ or so that has a decent in line mic, dont want a headset since it bothers me after a while wearing them, any suggestions? so far what ive seen is the hammerhead pro and the sennheiser pc300, dont know what others are out there.
  3. love the skin they use, the only good one out there.
  4. ohhh, yeah i wont need that many ports lol i was looking at the 4 port ones
  5. is it really that much for a simple raid 0 controller? damn lol edit: the ones im looking at are around 100$, whats the difference?
  6. so im looking to get a raid controller for my 3x 1tb wd black drives, but im new to the raid card controller scene and my z77 sabertooth cant take 3 more drives, im looking around newegg at controller cards by rosewill, syba, and highpoint? never heard of these companies, which one should i go for? just dont wanna end up buying something that sucks lol you know how it is. im open to recommendations if you wanna link me to a raid card, needs to handle at least 3x 6gb/s hdd's in raid 0
  7. Superlux 668b + ModMic 4.0 when it comes out (soon)
  8. im wondering how accurate offset voltages are, my 3570k is overclocked right now to 4.5ghz, ive been using a manual voltage of 1.2 and its been stable and shows around 1.208 with minor fluctuations (+- 0.004 at any given time) which has been normal, but when i switch over to an offset of +0.1 which is 1.2v for me at 100% load, every so often hw monitor and ai suite and cpuz are showing it jump way over 1.2v every so often under random loads for example the highest ive seen is a sudden jump to 1.248v just opening chrome. but when i run prime or ibt to stress the cpu to 100% it goes to 1.2 just like it was under a manual voltage. im curious if this is really happening or if hwmonitor and cpuz and all those programs are just buggy and lying to me. shouldnt my voltage not go any higher than 1.2?
  9. well seeing as it has an audio jack, can i just get this and get the effect im looking for? http://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX641
  10. so im going to be getting a second asus vs278q-p and i have a question about the built in speakers for it before it comes in. the way i have it pictured in my head is that ill have 1 monitor connected using displayport and 1 connected through hdmi, is there someway i can setup the audio so that 1 monitor plays left sound and the other plays right? or would i have to use different cables if its even possible to have it like that? there is a 3.5mm audio jack on the back of each monitor if i need to go that route but then i would need a splitter of some kind i think?
  11. so im curious about something, the setup i have right now includes my fractal define r4 case that has 2 140mm intake fans on the front, 2 intake 120mm fans on the top that blow down on a radiator, and a 140mm exhaust fan in the rear. i am replacing the stock front fractal fans with nf-a14 flx's and the top 2 intake have already been replaced with nf-f12's, and this may seem like a silly question, but with all that intake air pressure, do i even need an exhaust fan? seems like the air is just getting pushed out the back by itself just fine without the use of an exhaust fan, the reason i ask this is that i wanna reduce noise as much as possible and since im using air from outside of the case for the rad i thought it wouldn't be an issue if i took the 140mm exhaust fan out.
  12. it doesnt make sense that my connection is dropping by half then, because their canadian server is literally an hour drive away o.0
  13. so you're saying that i connect to their Canadian server, then it goes across the world, then back again, then to speedtest?
  14. so i signed up because i got a lot of suggestions to use a vpn, i am currently living in canada with cogeco 120mbps internet, but when i connected to the vpn and run speedtest i drop from 120mbps to like 50mbps on the same toronto server that i normally pick. is it normal to lose that much speed?
