Pandry's Achievements

  1. Oh, here's a screen from the NVidia control panel now (I connected even a 3rd monitor):
  2. I have fixed the problem. I searched for the "MST" keyword (and after I realised that in Italian it means Sexually Transmitted Diseases ) I searched on google in English and found that the MTS function is already on my monitor and kind of automatic. Continuing surfing I found a post from a guy in the NVidia forum who said he unplugged the monitor for about 30 seconds and it worked for him. I was sceptical at the beginning, so I did not try. I searched more on the net, with no success, so I did try to unplug the monitor for about 1 minute, plugged in back and my eyes started to gleam *.* So, it worked... Sorry for the long post and thanks for the "MTS" tip
  3. I have got a UP2715K display from Dell and a PNY Quadro M2000. Unluckily I'm not able to achieve a 5K resolution on Windows 10 Pro, even if all the drivers are installed (and both the DP cables are connected). I've already checked both the cables and both works fine. Surfing the menus, I saw that in the NVidia control panel only one cable is detected, in the first DP connector (or port number 1, see the attached image). So I did try to unplug the 2nd cable, and the computer didn't even notice it. I did try to install other drivers version too but without success. (I hope the section is right... In case I'm wrong, excuse me)
  4. I already know that, but I'm searching for a card in grade of support a 5K output with a 10-bit color depth
  5. I'm not really into the AMD market, could you suggest me a valid AMD card with a 10-bit colour depth in grade of support a 5K display?
  6. He got the photoshop photographer license (the one with photoshop, lightroom and camera raw)(this one) So I think most of the GPUs on the market are supported
  7. I already saw the M2000, but I was searching for something more cheap
  8. I'm not really into the crossfire technology nor AMD, but, as far as I know, when 2 different AMD graphics cards work together, the powerful one "downgrade" itself to reach the level of the less powerful one, so, in my opinion, you should not buy a different card. I saw some pretty decent video on the net about an R9 380 crossfire, like this one
  9. Hello everyone, My father bought a computer with a Nvidia Quadro K1200 graphic card. The problem is that he already had a Dell UP2715K monitor (a 5k 10-bit colour depth monitor), and the K1200 does not support a 5K resolution (as I saw here), and I had some problems with it (here I did ask for help in the Dell forum). He likes to edit photos, so he would use the computer only to edit photos and, eventually, surf the web. Now I'm searching for an alternative graphic card with 10-bit colour depth and 5k resolution support. I saw that the AMD RX 480 supports 5K resolution and even 10-bit colour depth, but I'm not sure about it and I don't know if it would be a valid alternative. (If possible he would not like to spend too much) Excuse me if I was unclear or there are mistakes in the post since English is not my primary language.
  10. I used it for a while and once the driver are installed, for me, it worked well...(I've compared it with my father's iMac)
  11. I don't think the Anti-DoS is really helpful in a home connection, but the WPS is vulnerable because it allow an attacker to penetrate on your network bruteforcing a 6 number code... So I would suggest you to disable the WPS.
  12. The hackintosh is stable (as much as I tryed)... The only thing (for me) is that OSX was good to do video and photo editing once, now (for me) windows is better... But anyway it is stable.
  13. Hey guys, I've just assembled my new PC, but I have a problem with it... It don't turn on. When I switch it on, it start (moreless) but, the led near the RAM remain stationary and there's no video output nor beep from the speaker. I tryed exchanging and moving the ram (with no result) and I tryed removing the RAM at all (this time is emitted a beep sequence) I don't know what to do... Here's my build: CPU: Intel i7-6700k RAM: Gskill TridentZ DDR4-3000 CL-15 (8192x2) (code: F4-3000C15D-16GTZB ) MoBo: Asus Z-170-PRO PSU: Corsair RM750x GPU: Nvidia Quadro K1200 HDD: Western Digital Black 2TB
