  1. My family, 5 kids, are moving full time into an RV to travel the country. We have homeschooling knocked out, work arranged, but I really want an offline Minecraft server for the family to have access to. Key points: 1. Small is better 2. Will have ability to update but don’t want to burn through our data 3. Needs to host up to 10 people. 4. Preferably the Minecraft education edition. i really appreciate any suggestions and feedback. I’ve considered stuff like a NUK just for size.
  2. so the port is set correctly in the proFTPD files, still trying to find the SFTP file in terminal to change it there.
  3. I use a VPN for general use, not point to point connection to my home network. but here is the general guide I followed in creating my server: https://ryanfitton.co.uk/blog/quick-and-easy-ftp-server-install-on-a-raspberry-pi/ I'm going to dig into the port issue, and hope that's it. and thank you for taking time to correspond, I really appreciate it.
  4. 1. SFTP 2. I have a static IP and I use a VPN to encrypt while transferring files 3. I did setup PF in my router 4. 5. using proFTPd, confirmed the IP in the pi
  5. ok, I'm a bit of a newb with linux in general, but I really needed a server to move photography files on and off of for my photo business., I got my raspi setup, and I can access it from within my own network, but when outside I get this error "Server sent reply with unroutable address" I have tried several things I found online with regards to changing FileZilla's active/passive options to no avail. I could really use a hand here from someone with a little more knowledge.
  6. I have another rm750, I can test with, I completely disassembled everything and reassembled last night. I'm going to run Aida and unigen again when I get back home in a couple hours. I'll update then.
  7. OK, so that worked, but, how do I get this beast stable with all the RAM, because I need to get there. Any suggestions?
  8. First, the specs: Ryzen 9 3900x EVGA RTX 2070 SUPER BLACK 64GB GSKILL NEO DDR4 3600 C16 ASUS STRIX X570F (newest bios updated 3/10/20) XPG SX8200 NVME 1TB, 1TB QVO860, 1TB WD BLACK, 8TB WD ELEMENTS EXTERNAL, 8TH SEAGATE EXTERNAL CORSAIR H115I RM750 WIN10PRO System boots, runs, then randomly will blacks creen and reboot. It happened when running Easeus data recovery wizard on my 8tb wd (long story, lost formatting, 6tb of photography work ?). So I tried running Aida and it just cruises at 1 to 5% usage, no peaks, but doesn't crash, then will randomly crash again, I can't figure it out because I can't seem to find any commonality except that when I run EaseUS it always crashes around 60-80% never completes the recovery, whether on my 8tb or a 1tb I tested. No OC, does it with or without DOCP turned on. Removed all drivers and reinstalled with creator drivers for GPU, newest chipset, etc.
  9. Yeah, ran DDU, then updated to most recent drivers and that finally fixed it.
  10. I have an rx570, sapphire, on an Asus mobo with an i5. It boots and displays windows just fine on a 720p TV via HDMI, but as soon as I hook it to my 3 1440p monitors it boots, splashes bios, splashes the initial windows loading for a second then I have black screens. I tried DDU and reinstalling Radeon drivers to no avail. I just decided to redo this system and make it a work pc next to my main rig and I am stuck, any ideas?
  11. Will a 2060 push all that real-estate without any issues and still have a little juice for assisting photoshop is my concern. I'm a single dad with three boys in the house and I'm definitely looking for the best bang for my buck. The grocery bill comandeers most of my money ?
  12. Hi, I'm looking to upgrade my workstation with some extra real-estate. Here's the system: Ryzen 7 1700x Prime B-350 32gb 3600mhz CL16 ram Rm750 And currently a Strix RX480 I am adding 3x24"1440p photo editing monitors and keeping my LG 34" 21x9. I am concerned about my GPU and wondering what I should go to, I game a little (destiny 2 or something twice a month) I run photoshop CC and Lightroom a lot for photo editing, and I work from home as a call center manager. I'd like to run my 3 photo monitors on DP for image quality, but I can't figure out which current GPU would be best, any suggestions? And why? Here's one of my images in appreciation of the assistance.
  13. It would be really nice, I am using a Void Pro right now, I like over ear, the wireless is nice so I can handle the boys and still hear the alerts and pings from the PC when I have to.
  14. So I work from home, sounds great, but I have three young boys, and they are LOUD. I need a really good wireless headset that I can wear all day at work and for gaming at night, but I need a really good noise cancelling mic so when the heathens are running in the house my employees don't hear them. I have been cruising reviews and websites but haven't found anything that really gave me a good answer, any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
