    Not that old, a year, something could short in my PC though? But then it shouldn't turn on. I mean, it happens early in the day when I boot the PC up for the first time. Afterwards during the day no issues.

    Dunno it is a house fuse, probably 16 amps. Not much to be honest.

    Hey there, Whenever I turn on the PC in the morning, my computer throws out the fuse, afterwards, it is not a problem anymore. Cold caps charging and overshoot or power supply broken? Is it dangerous for my to run my computer that way? *Damn it, wrong forum, too many tabs open*

    Well how well is the Prime made for the 8700k? I mean, the coffelake range includes also other processors. Given that it overclocks to 4.4 GHz automatically.

    I'm looking for durability of the components and features. The Strix is not an option because you're paying more for the RGB.

    Yeah but how is people's experience with Asrock? Because the taichi costs as much as the Strix.

    But why the hell do guys like JayZs2cents always use Asus, are they that affiliated and simply don't care?

    So you are biased against anything that's not Asus like more or rather don't deem them trustworthy reliable. And why does everybody on PCpartsticker buy the Strix... Maybe I should man up and don't be such a nonreflective fool.

    Yeah I dunno, it is really attractive, the Asrock, with Taichi and all the components included for 200 while the maximus from Asus doesn't even have TB3 given the price and features.

    Do you know what bothers me the most guys? That the motherboard is cheaper than the 16 GB of ram... Would the maximus be worth the purchase? I just want to make sure that I'll buy something that lasts for a few years.

    Yeah but it is advertised as Cl16, but unless I engage XMP / run it at the targeted frequency (3200 MHz), it'll just run CL16. I mean, I wouldn't take advantage of the CL14 unless it runs at 3200 MHz.

    Yeah but without selecting the XMP profile or manually changing it, it won't be at CL14 right?
