  1. Idk why, but i feel kind of uncreative with a dash of stupid now. I just switched out the bad HDD with the new good one and now everything's dandy. Thanks anyways.
  2. Oddly it doesnt want to open. EDIT: Nevermind. It opened. It was probably slow because i still have a broken HDD connected and it was just processing the fact.
  3. HDD Shows up in BIOS and via external USB (Sharkoon Drivelink 2.0) but not in Disk Management when connected internally. Formatted my 1.5TB HDD last night (took like 8 hrs) via my Sharkoon↴. The problem was still here before i formatted. Here's also a pic from BIOS
  4. I just sent an email to Seagate, because that seems to be the simplest option at this point. Will get a response this coming Monday. Internally Closest thing i have is a laptop, my dad just found a HDD i can format but i'll get it tomorrow as its 02:03 here now.
  5. Ive got this thing Sharkoon Drivelink, its got one cord for power and one double usb which is serial connected. Also see pic from original post, the hdd is unparted, which is the problem. I tried downloading a trial of EaseUS but it cant see the disk because its not parted/initialized/allocated... im basically the girl in my avatar right now
  6. Doesnt that format it? I will under no circumstance delete the contents of my disk. There are a bunch of important things on there.
  7. So about 2 days ago my pc shat itself after i tried to save a picture. Here's what happened: TLDR: Dank memes forced me to format my SSD Now my SSD is up and working, but i cant see my HDD in Disk Management, so i did the same as last time this happened, i changed around the SATA connections 'till it finally showed up now i get this: (the red lines are just to make the translations stand out more) Help me! You guys are my only hope! (I will under no circumstance delete the contents of my disk. There are a bunch of important things on there.)
  8. Tried this? http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/id-2766768/error-0xc0000225-upgrading.html "Step 1: Try to install Windows 10 using the media creation tool provided by Microsoft:Link: https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-download/windows10Step 2: After installing Windows 10, perform an Automatic Repair.Perform the Automatic repair:1. When your computer starts, wait for the manufacturer logo to check the option for boot menu, it will usually be F12.2. The boot menu key might differ with each manufacturer. If you are unable to find the boot menu key, you may refer the user manual.3. Restart the computer, when the manufacturer's logo is displayed, keep pressing the Boot menu option key to enter the boot menu and change the boot option to CD\DVD ROM.4. After you boot your computer using Windows 8 DVD, a black screen appears with gray text "Press any key to boot from CD or DVD". Press any key.5. Select the correct time and Keyboard type.6. Click Repair your computer in the lower left corner7. Click on Troubleshooting, advanced option and then click Automatic repair. You may try as well to rebuild BCD from Command Prompt.Same procedure but this time, instead of Troubleshoot, select Command Prompt.a) In the “Advanced Options” screen, click “Command Prompt”.b) Type BOOTREC /FIXMBR, and then press ENTER.c) Type BOOTREC /FIXBOOT, and then press ENTER.d) Type BOOTREC /REBUILDBCD, and then press ENTER.Reboot the system and check if the issue persists."
  9. Finally managed to install Windows 10 from USB after much trouble, but now i have a new problem. It seems that the file explorer doesnt properlo recognise two of my storage devices nor my CD-ROM, making it so i cant run the cd for my new Motherboard so i can get internet. One is a 2TB Seagate Barracuda HDD from my previous pc and one is a new 240GB Intel SSD. The CD-ROM is an ATAPI iHOS104. I also have an old HDD inside which works without a problem and is also the disc i installed windows on, even though i wanted to install it on the SSD but it didnt show up. I get this when i press the 2TB disc in the explorer http://i.imgur.com/kl0NKOj.jpg "You have to format the disc in station D: before you can use it. Do you want to format it? Format disk. Cancel." Of course i press cancel, and then i get this http://i.imgur.com/aki5UvT.jpg "D:\ is not available. The volume does not contain a known file system. Control that all of the required filesystemdrivers are loaded, and that the volume is not damaged." I have alot of sensitive information on the 2TB disc such as passwords, original pictures, notes and such, so formatting is not an option, ever.
  10. One more question though, how do i change my D drive to work with Windows 10 without formatting it?
