  1. The one on the 2TB Drive is not as there is windows update issues whilst the one on the 1TB drive is as I just downloaded the windows iso yesterday to do a fresh install
  2. As far as I know, both drives are in good condition, no SMART warning. Uh, each drive have one instance of Windows 10 installed (dual-booting windows and windows)
  3. I Have 2 Windows OS installed in my PC, one is on a 2TB HDD and one is on a 1TB HDD. I used to be able to choose between either Windows OSes but after doing a fresh window install on the 1TB drive, it only let me boot to it and I have no way of booting to the 2tb drive. I tried boot overriding from the bios to the 2TB HDD but it just shows me boot0os: error.
  4. The wierd temperature I was having went away after restarting my pc... But will using firefox cause gpu temps to rise, even when just browsing websites?
  5. During Idle, my gpu would be temps would go up to 58 degrees, fan kicks in and drop temps down to 51, then goes back up to 58 again. The process would repeat itself many times and would never stop. Is this normal? *Firefox is running 6 tabs of LTT forum, hence the 44% ram usage
  6. @Dominik999 Ah, that worked, thanks a bunch! The question in my head now is that will it damage my graphics card/monitor by doing this, and is this a permanent solution?
  7. @Dominik999 CRU shows that i have 2 monitors for me to choose from when i only have one connected, what do i do? I also took a look at device manager and found that PCI Simple Comminications Controller was under "unknown devices", should i be concerned about that?
  8. @Crunchy Dragon @Brink2ThreeI tried setting a custom resolution, but all it gave me was a strecthed image with massive black bars on the top and bottom @Dominik999Will give it a try and see how it goes
  9. Hello, recently i bought a used GTX 1060 online and when i plugged it into my monitor via the HDMI port, it would just stay at a resolution of 1024x768. My monitor's native resolution is 1080p with refresh rate of 60Hz. But after looking through the nvidia control panel, it says that it is running at 1024x768 @ 140Hz. Another thing is that nvidia knows that i am connected through HDMI, but it also says that i am connected through dvi. I've tried reinstalling the nvidia drivers, used different HDMI cables, used display driver uninstaller, but nothing works. Right now, i suspect that it is my HDMI port that is having problems since i can't connect to my monitor through HDMI using both of my laptop and my old hd7750. What would the problem be?
  10. maybe should've have simplified the problem, sorry. it gave me the continuous shot beeps again.
  11. Oh, i've never thought that driver updates would help with these kind of problems. It's going to be annoying to update drivers right now though because the pc just "crashed" again...
  12. Should this post be in the "troubleshooting" forum instead?
  13. For the last 2 months, my pc had been acting strangely. When I put a load on my pc such as playing a game, it would randomly freeze, reboot, and give me continuous short beep from the motherboard speaker. From what I have searched on Gigabyte's website, it says that the beep code means that power supply failed. But upon swapping into a known working power supply, it would still give me the same beep codes. I have had luck "fixing" the problem by clearing cmos and removing everything connected from the motherboard, but the problem had redeveloped 2 times already. Right now, I want to buy a replacement component but is unsure of which component is bad. Would it be Motherboard, Power Supply, or something else? PC Specs as follows: CPU: Core i7 3770 Ram: 8GB Kingston DDR3 ram Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-P75-D3 Power Supply: AcBel G550 550W Graphics Card: Gigabyte Radeon HD 7750 1GB Storage: 1TB WD Green + 2TB WD Red
