  1. The HD audio controller in the BIOS has already been turned on and the BIOS is up to date.
  2. I am having a problem with my newly build system.I never had to use the motherboard audio jacks until now and as a result I never caught this problem. But it turns out the only my headphone which is connected to the monitor works and none of my motherboard audio jacks are working(both my front panel jacks on the case and the rear panel jacks on the motherboard do not work). Whenever I plug my headphones into any of the motherboard jacks, windows recognizes the device being plugged in and I set that device as the default device but still there is no audio through it. I have the latest realtek audio drivers from my motherboard manufacturer and the latest GPU drivers. So what I can conclude is that only my nvidia HD audio devices are working(my monitor) and any other audio device does not work. Motherboard - MSI B150M MORTAR CASE - NZXT S340 Monitor - LG 22MP58VQ GPU - Zotac GTX 1060 6gb CPU - i5 6600 RAM - 8GB hyperx DDR4 OS - Windows 10 151
  3. I recently finished building my first PC and everything works fine, until I started testing the audio ports. I connect my PC to the monitor using HDMI, so never saw the need to use the motherboard audio ports. Then today, i decided to plug it in and try and to my surprise, I found that it was not working(the front and the back panel ports). I literally plugged my headphones into every audio port on the motherboard(rear and front) and none of them worked. But my monitor audio out works fine. My realtek audio manager detects the device being plugged in, but I get no audio from the headphone. I even tried changing to different headphones, but none of them worked. I enabled the 'disable front panel jack detection' in the realtek manager, but even then none of the ports worked. Any idea where I may be going wrong?
  4. I finished building my PC and it works perfectly except one small wrinkle. The ZOTAC logo on my GTX 1060 AMP! edition ZOTAC is not glowing. I tried changing the settings for led visualizer in geforce experience, but no change took place. It never glows, even during boot up. I can play games fine and the nvidia control panel recognises the card. Any tips to make the logo glow? Can it glow?
  5. My OS is windows 10 64 bit(Build 1507) Does gtx 1060 work with this build? Motherboard - MSI B150M Mortar CPU - i5 - 6600 GPU - Zotac GTX 1060 AMP! HDD - 1 TB WD Blue SSD - 240GB Kingston Case - NZXT S340
  6. Just noticed another thing. With the GPU removed, I tried to connect the motherboard's HDMI to the monitor and removed the without the d-sub cable and the display output is not recognized. Any solution?
  7. The PC doesn't give a display to be seen when the GPU is connected. And the ZOTAC logo isnt glowing white
  8. I tried the same thing around 5 times without any result
  9. I just finished building my first pc and after installing windows 10, everything works fine, Then, I install my gtx 1060 zotac amp edition to the motherboard (MSI B150M Mortar), the 6-pin power connected and I tried connecting the HDMI port on the GPU to the monitor, I get a blank screen. I even connected the HDMI to the motherboard, but it is not working now.
  10. I know this might sound a little ridiculous, but please indulge my doubts. I have decided to go with the MSI B150M Bazooka/MORTAR for a GTX 1070 build and my CPU would be a i5 6600. I do not plan on overclocking CPU. The case I plan on using will be the NZXT S340 (white). 1. Will either BAZOOKA or MORTAR support SLI?If neither supports SLI, could you suggest any one micro ATX motherboards that will and which will fit in my case? 2. Most motherboards have around 4+ internal USB headers and the case has only has 2 USB ports in the top. Is there any way of utilizing the remaining 2 unused USB headers on the outer of the case?If that is not possible, is there a use for the extra USB headers at all? 3.What wattage PSU should I get for a GTX 1070 alone and GTX 1070 SLI?
  11. After deciding to build a gaming PC from scratch and asking for a few opinions from here - I decided to go with the build suggested by @shadowbyte Now, here is the issue - I live in India where prices are pretty high for any component and I have only the choice of online stores, namely - 1. www.amazon.in 2. www.theitdepot.com I was wondering if anyone could give a look over this build and suggest some optimizations so that the price remains under INR 80k, or if really needed, can go upto 90k. I plan on using this rig for gaming(Witcher 3, The Division, Assassin's Creed Syndicate - would like around 60 fps on Ultra) and productive work(College Student). I would love for the build to have a bit of lighting and look aesthetically good.
  12. @shadowbyte Where I live, there are bound to be power cuts at-least 3-4 times/day. Would the build u suggested hold up during these power cuts,i.e., Is there a chance of the components getting damaged? If so, what modifications should I make to combat the power cut issues?
