At work I used to have an Evoluent Vertical Mouse 4 which I *LOVE* for work and productivity. Solved all of my wrist pain issues and really comfortable to use. Now at home, though, I use my gaming mouse - a Razer Deathadder Elite - which is great for gaming, but using it all day long for two weeks now has me back with wrist and more specifically palm rest pain. Is there a vertical ergonomic mouse you can game with that's not crap? A google search found mostly no-names or rather names of brands I didn't recognize and I couldn't find a lot of reliable information on the matter. Would the better solution just be to get a productivity oriented ergonomic vertical mouse and only use the Razer for gaming? I'd love to hear your thoughts. Thanks and stay safe!

What version of Windows are you running?

No Wireless is a dealbreaker for me. I have the Wireless Vive module and I can't go back. It changes the game fundamentally and adds a whole new dimension of comfort, ease of use, and - well - easy of mind. Unfortunately, as Linus said, the wireless technologies we currently have are nowhere near powerful enough to pump that resolution and framerate - and the technology we DO have isn't advancing anywhere; Intel SHUT DOWN their WiGig division, and I don't know of any other developments in nanometer wave technologies.

Upgraded My Wifi Card, and having troubles with bluetooth
Ambious replied to ItsHarox's topic in Networking
That doesn't mean much, those processes come with the drivers. If you don't see it in the control panel it's probably just not working. It could be that the mPCIe to PCIe adapter doesn't know to transfer it, or that it's just defective, but my guess would be the former. Have you tried that card in a laptop and/or a different card with BT in the adapter? -

Do you see the Bluetooth adapter in the Device Manager? -

Might be a driver issue. This is a really old card and Intel WiFi/BT drivers only officially go back so far. What operating system are you on? What driver version are you using?/ -
I'm a programmer for Intel, at the Wireless and Connected Systems group in Israel. I write software and do DevOps for the Windows WIFI driver team.

Yeah, once I put the SSD in that NUC started performing really well.
-
Interesting ? The longer version of the above story is that I got my sister a NUC, and it game with a 1TB non-SSD HDD and an Optane Module, and it performed like dogshit. So I replaced the HDD with an SSD, which of course made it much snappier, and removed the Optane module because I figured she didn't need it anymore. Thing is, that darned NUC only has 4GB of ram (I know it sucks, it was the only one on stock). So maybe I can put the Optane back in there and give her some extra RAM... Thanks!
-
So from here to there, long story short, I have a spare Optane 16GB module in my possession. My system also has a pretty fast SSD already, and I barely use my spinning HDD for anything but storing media (my games are on the SSD), so I don't think it'll be much here there. Is there anything useful and/or cool I can do with it? Will it do anything at all if I add it to my current system? (this) Thanks!

Mine is already disabled so it's not that ?

If only I could go back in time and give myself the same warning ?

Stay away form the Dell. See this thread as to why. It's not just "washed out" colors, it's color banding that makes any JPG (including within many games) a pain to look at.
-
*sigh* What monitor would you guys get instead? Something with G-Sync AND color that's not noticeably shitty?

So this actually worked fine for me in 1809 but now 1903 broke it. Anyone had any luck?
