Hello all, I'm man enough to admit this screw up, and holding myself accountable. We humans were born to screw up, and don't anyone feeling sorry for me, because I'm on so much medication, on Jan 31 2019, haven't been able to get around much from pain, was cleaning my system which wasn't done in about 2.5 months, unplugged everything cleaned system with my compucleaner powerful duster. Removed my NZXT KRAKEN X62 The grease was like Elmer's glue it was noctua thermal paste, gentle rocking the AIO to break seal rocking it for about a slow burn of 7 mins, pulled it off and processor was stuck pulling the cpu out while I closed socket, didn't realize any pins where bent or anything, so I struggled removing CPU of the aio itself it was like glue, so cleaned the copper cooler then the psu as well, raised the zif arm to re seat Doing the usual second nature of reseating, noticed it had a little trouble going in I never for it ". But applied with my index finger, had lil bit more trouble after to going in, had forgot about the golden arrow had to point bottom left corner thinking I had inserted another way still nothing then learned 3 pins bent. Bent it back in place a little Went gentle, it was seated in turned the system on without the cooler attached place my finger to see if I'm getting any heat then after, I hurried to power it down then applied thermal paste on it, Turned it on no BIOS BEEPS, I have everything plugged in, my mobo is a asus 970 aura motherboard (AM3+) with AMD 8370 Could the bent pins cause this crisis. Powered the system back on, while everything is plugged in. I get no bios beeps, Turn monitor on, I get "no signal" and doesn't do what is was supposed toand I'm thinking the problem could be the cpu is in, but with bent pins and thinking this may have caused it This issue..... My asus 970 mobo has aura rgb, its lit, other led lights were static and blinking normally Can open BD tray, fans spin (all) Works, I took out the cpu everything else was in, still no signal from gpu via, spoke with Asus customer support and mentioned this and dont I think he said while cpu isnt installed Could be the problem srry for the long post just frustrated... Very.,,,, In my theory I figured nothing was on with board because rgb and other little red led are on, fans etc Because if was the mobo, was damaged nothing would!power on. At all, disconnected all still no beeps, I took out the watch battery for 5-40 mins install (battery back in) srry for my sloppy posing I'm on my iPhone just unplugged then plugged back in and see my rgb colors are cycling like normally. Hope I'm not leaving anything out. Hard to function so much meds I'm on. Just ordered a new cpu amd 8350 fx so confused at times, but this be the problem hopefully Google bios beeps glossary Doesn't have info on aanuyhing for bios beep with code for no cpu installed so when I gety new cpu that I won't run into issued saw every beep code and don't think I ran across any beeps, for no cpu installed processer just beeps for no ram, no gpu nothing listed it, could this be the problem? So the cpu must he installed first before It could let you know something is wrong with other components??? I apologize for long post, just that's the only I have in my life I have a difficult life. Can't work, Can't drive gf lives far and get to see her 7 times a year. Hello guys! Hope all has been well, haven't been on the site for quite sometime, just have a lot going on and really don't want to think about it, and just move alone going back into gaming on both sides of the world (PC|Console) Mainly the PC scene, its been sitting up for a while it's my latest build but anyway Do any of you guys by chance own a Steam Controller? i own the Steam Link (older version) as bundled package without "any game" which was fine, ecstatic as hell when i powered on my Link and paired the controller, this is one of the problems i am having. It does Steam Link fine, i like the controller so much for all my elder scrolls steam games, and love it along with having the community partake into helping making it bigger than what it is now. And love it's solid, just have to get used to it just like we all did, changing consoles from childhood to adulthood, and both evolving together, now i unplug my Steam Link take the USB drive plug it into the back of my Computer or plugged into my keyboard, turn on the controller, greeting you as you would turn the controller on, then the home button, flashed slow then mega fast like it was having a heart attack.. Then keep plugging the USB drive, or restart and same issue would i have to pair it to my gaming selfbuilt pc? Because samething happening over and over and pretty annoying it has to be some kind of way to pair the usb drive for connectivity. Only way i can some what have this work, is take the usb cable plug the controller via USB powered The USB drive that comes with the controller that's but has to be remained plugged, i plan on getting two and longer cables. The USB cable that ships with it, i know it's a micro usb cable, cant really tell, if i need USB type A or B ? i share this cable with my XBOX One controller, bad thing is the plug doesn't stay in.and game pad gets disconnected (XBOX ONE pad) Not trying to sound like some hotshot or something, but i don't participate on forums, i used to many years ago, you ask question and respond in a very rude manner, and degrading hardware the thread starter feel less than a human being. But that doesn't bother me, what bothers me is you go way out the way to be kind and respectful and just so rude also the worst Grammar/Spelling Nazi's pretty pointless doesn't just because of a simple mistake spelling "GAME" "GAEM" etc but its just ridiculous. Hello all,I know many of you probably own or had this motherboard at one point in time. ASUS own ASUS 970 Pro Gaming/Aura As you all may know the board doesn't have any four pin RGB headers. But yet it supports Aura Software, only thing seems to be getting anything "Aura-like" is the RGB Northbridge. I found a set of fan grills that caught my eye, made by Phantek, it's Halo series rgb grills I that's the name of which allows the owner to turn any old fan into an RGB fan, (120mm or 140mm as of my knowledge) I know I would need an RGB/LED splitter cable thingy. to complete this, so on the market is there any kind of SATA or Molex to convert the power since my board doesn't have the actual headers required. Really dislike having chronic pain and all full of pain pills for my condition, makes my life confusion at times, I think I've spoke with a Guy named "Matt" who runs cablemod.com or something and the guys had a RGB strip on the market I wanted but, it was a kit you'd have to buy that comes with a power cable? so the 970 can use the actual aura software which came with the motherboard itself. I've seen these on youtube and the LED's are bright and not dim nor flickering. I know most of us users, who dislike the colors of an Noctua fan, and plan on purchasing 7 NF-A14 iPPC 140mm, 4 for the rad, 3 for the front and 1 rear fan, and want all of them to provide extra light. I am an owner of a Corsair Graphite 780 T case, for extreme cooling, and just wondered how I could still get this configuration to work without having RGB headers on the board. Thanks In Advance

Hello guys, big fan of Linus and the rest of the crew, i have posted here before, but personal trouble got in the way don't worry everything is fine now. So guys, i do remember posting here for hardware/peripherals, i built my new PC had no issues with anything, but the issue showed up later on. It's a ventilation issue, it's a TT Versa N21. did research on the case, and TT states you could water cool the system probably for an iatx board but not an full sized ATX, such as the which i own Asus 970 Aura/Gaming motherboard. I watched plenty of Linus videos, he did an all RGB build, and the case he was actually included for the build It was the In-Win 805 Infinity mirror case did he mod it for ventilation? talked to a few people and called in-win service email. And told me i wouldn't have any trouble transferring everything over, It's the AMD FX-8370 4.0GHz and i am running it on the NZXT Kraken x52 (120mm fans), i guess people configs are different. I hear its an excellent case. then i hear people mention how bad the ventilation for this case, as bad as people say it is, so i let the uber experts on this particular case. I Plan on buying the Kraken x62 (140mm fans) for what ever case i get, i know ascetics isn't everything but wanting to go out and just get a great case with great ventilation and bigger radiator support... Maybe you guys could give send help, guidance Advice, and help prevent me from paying over priced that really doesn't help with what you are trying to do. I'm old school really want a nice case with bays, so i could install a fan controller and my bluray do it all drive. Hello all happy holidays everyone, I have a quick question and don't want to take up anyone's time. Well i am in the process of re-installing and formating Windows 10 Pro (64-bit) I didn't realize when i built everything that system restore was disabled. Instead of backup up on a external HDD I was wondering could you just format a external HDD with lets say 8TB of storage no it, I want to create a system restore point on the single drive. here's what everything may look like. Installed items. Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver, AMD Catalyst Drivers, Bandicam, Spotify, Steam (No games installed), Google Chrome, Opera. i want to do this lightly as much as i can. And this would probably be the time, i create a system restore point on the external drive. Will the restore point i saved will be avaible tor future usage like lets say i restored back to such and such. then if someone ever goes wrong again, i have to use it lets say end of 2018 and 2019. Will i be able to use it still? the reason I've asked was that i had Windows XP and created restore points and when used them, they we'rent listed anymore and was screwed.. because the restore point wasn't there anymore. Will this happen if I end up performing this procedure on to the drive in the future. Thanks in advance all sorry posted this on iphone and very sloppy i applogize!

Hello all, Actually, the G19 does, one is the power supply the other has a plug thingy can't remember that clamps connected female plug. I had to replace I'm from Baton Rouge, Louisiana and my house flooded had to replace the power adapter OEM power adapter, which works great btw anyway its very hard to re-wire my desk has about a 5" "legs of the desk" and it has a cupboard like look which we're drawers two of them! Placing lots of things in there gaming related lol i could do plug the mouse into my keyboard, but my creative SoundBlaster World of Warcraft headsets caused major problems so that's why it's hooked to the back of my self-built PC. the cupboard shape and style which has height it it and i am pulling my keyboard mouse over so when I close the keyboard drawer it gets stuck on them and pulls my keyboard and mouse to the floor, but I am willing to try Amazon.com to get these, so anyone had any conflict with high end and mid end keyboard and mice plugged? my cause doesnt have any 3.0 USB i think it's 2.5USB but i am willing to take the chance the desk takes up so much space in the room, and i go back so far to crawl to pull the cables upward sorry for the sloppy post i am posting this from my iPhone SE, and hate it so much at time >_< So anyone had any problem using other peripherals with extension cables USB. Hey there i am a little lost here? Umm where can i download windows 10 professional 64-bit? does that mean, i can use the upgrade on my booting from my USB drive, never did any of this before. Just looked at a youtube video, it's so confusing.. sorry for the bother.

Hello again, I've been pretty busy these days, and even taking care of one of my sick family members Guys around January of this year (2017), I have ran into trouble with Windows 10 Professional 64 Bit It was an actual upgrade from Windows 7 Professional 64 bit, which I opted in and signed up for it so when the time came around to get the actual free upgrade, but i have ran into trouble, the system works just as fine but my internet has been screwed up while being active on the system. And been running Windows 7 Professional 64-bit. which i have to use F8 everytime i start my PC to boot Windows 7 instead. which has became a true pain.. Is there some kind of way i can install the upgrade on the USB Thumb Drive (I own 64GB from SanDisk) and i had researched and ran into problems trying to install the upgrade on my current booted Windows 7 Professional install. I tried to install the update, but got an error about not having any partition on the hard drive, and i am very scared to create one on the drives i have no i fear i will lose everything, because i have no clue if it would reformat it killing everything. Can i use my Thumb Drive as partition, so i could boot it from there, but really dont want to reinstall all my games and other things, i hope it'll be just like when i first got the upgrade on day one, how i feared it would have deleted everything and have Windows 10 but with everything gone but, all we're still there. I am building a new computer in a few months I have almost everything now. Also instead of creating a new topic of using a USB Thumb Drive to install Windows 10 Professional 64-bit And i have so many bills, and I don't don't want to add any more duration waiting purchasing the disk, i was wondering if i could legally download the Retail/OEM edition, and just install it via USB Drive (Another one 32GB Drive) instead of buying the DVD because it could save me tons of money to buy more SSD drives. But not sure about it, because i am building the system for the first time when i build the system. Any advice on this? Also i applogize about my sloppy post, it crap and so many errors, everytime i try to post i screw up and my topic won't save having to keep re-writing my thread... i fear of going back to edit because i dont want to start writing this post for the 900th time. Hi, Guys, I'm am so frustrated with my computer desk every time i pull my drawer out the cables get snagged and my keyboard and mouse hits the floor, because the desk doesn't have a piece of cardboard to prevent them from falling back if snugged and one of these days something is going to break. I am looking for a 6' USB extension cable for my Keyboard & Mouse (Logitech G19 Keyboard)| (LogitechG300s Mouse) And i am preferring the gold plated ones because I think gold plated USB plugs are sexy as hell! I already have the cash to purchase those cables when ever posible Thank You Guys!

I had to replace my desk the flood ruined it, and i really miss my old desk the keyboard drawer had a piece of cardboard so the mouse and keyboard drop over. So i googled and found nothing, wishing i could buy one, but i know for sure i'd have to take the keyboard drawer off just to install that. Sorry for the stupid embarrassing question... just so sick of my new Logitech mouse falling, hope it's a remedy for this issue somewhere. But many of you probably never owned any desk such as this particular desk.

Hello As you know about this one horrible event, the "history flood" Here in Baton Rouge, LA over 48,000 people and yes including me were victims from all the chaos which took place on August 14th 2016 i was totally aware of other cities within the itself I had no idea what had happen, my neighbors alerted all of the people in my subvision to not hesitate and evacuated. My neighborhood has about 184 homes. There was a man on a boat, trying to help people get out, but thought it would have been a great plan if he had a high-powered loud speaker But that's what i would have done if i wanted to be the "watchman" i had to hall tail and get out of there, but i quickly packed a nike duffle bag with alot of items, from my haircare, to my pain meds (used for medical condition i have sickle cell and too many other problems) made my exit. I'm only 5'4" guys the level of dirty river water, mixed with sewage, which stunk so bad by time most of us got to the boat, not to explicitly being graphic but the dirty water we we're floating over had so much "regurgitation" then we had a stop at chevron which was the best buy that i always walk to when i want peripherals and seeing that area which so much devastation, keep in mind that i ama disabled man due to pain. chronic pain, they had left this skinny pregnant woman crying, so i went to save her, due to the subdivision that was really close to a chevron. and she was very sick and she couldnt walk from an accident that occurred years ago. so I carried her from about 0.4miles, Then it was another pregnant woman who was going into labor and she was scared of all what happend so i asked a guy can i used his truck bed on his Toyota Tundra he said "sure" so i helped this other pregnant lady who was about 39 brought her to the post area waiting for a military truck to come get us. But i am so lucky i had tons of towels in my bag and cleaned her and the baby. Then i gave them al of my food and drinks because they needed more than i did. So the military truck never came so we then got on the interstate and with a truck bed down like 15 people, and me and this guy who had a job as a mall cop was terrifed that he was going to fall out and get killed, as for me i was cool calm and collected, and was very concerned about the guy who were next to me. The guys dropped us off in a resting area where it had food, and tons of hotels. to fast forward things, this lady redheaded lady walking the street. But most of the hotels we're full no vacancy, then she found another hotel and invited me to stay in her room, and thank god i did, she nearly died from a spider bite when she evacuated, she was in the shower for a long time and got concerned, so i went in there and picked her up, i had t-shirts to stop the bleeding and duct tape, she was in a no conscience state, i was never good at mouth- mouth till she came too went in her bag to find clothes for this woman to wear. and i dried her off got her dressed, then snuck out and bought food for us and drinks so i turned down eating once again. When she woke up she was so shocked and panicking, wonder why she had on different clothing, then i explained to her, because calling 911 was totally out of the picture, law enforcement we're totally booked up, i think about it alot now adays that what if i didn't stay in the room with her, and wondering and thinking time for positivity, and she did recall a spider crawled don her and so that was that. Next day, i had family come and get me, and my friend tobi, had a few friends who lived 60 miles, and i told her goodbye and gave her a hug. She was just telling this guy about if it wasn't for me she would have passed away her male friend started to cry and hug much then patted on their backs. Which i love helping out people that really does put a huge smile on my face and was so happy with myself. Anyways, fast-forward >> I stayed with family for about 6 weeks till people came to fix everything to make the homes livable, only thing was left out was that the guys came to my house on my birthday (October 11, 1984) and loved the new smell of carpet. Didn't lose any clothes either just a few heavy metal shirts, and a battle jacket (which i loved, because i was supporting my favorite rock/metal bands, and i am currently working on a new one, but it doesn't feel the same. so then I have all the utilities enabled so a few weeks later, i went into getting back on track. i appogize about my bad formatted post, using an iPhone 7. So anyways just wanted you guys to know what was going on i my life, it's so much more that i don't want to drive you all crazy.
