  1. What would be a good Mitx socket 1155 alternative ?
  2. I have tried 5 different DIMMs, 2x4gb Gskill RIP Jaws 1600mhz 1x8gb PNY XLR8 1600mhz 2x4gb Corsair Vengence 1600mhz I am using an ASrock h67m-itx mobo, with a i7-2600k, corsair hx750 and the RAM listed above the mobo has 2 Memory Lanes, I am using the second instead of the first. Out of those 5 DIMMs only 1 DIMM worked, I am using 1 of the 2 corsair vengence 4gb. The other 4 DIMMs did not work on either Memory Channel. I have tried cleaning the RAM, buying new RAM (the 8gb PNY XLR8) I have also used compressed air and cleaned out the Memory Channels. I have tried updating the bios, clearing the CMOS multiple Times Not quite sure what else to do, and I cant really afford to RMA, I work from Home and need my computer, additionally shipping to CA from MA would cost about 1/3 of a new one.
  3. I really didnt plan on OC'ing I am more looking for form factor How is this for a combo ? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835181053 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835132020
  4. Hello, I am going to be moving my i7-2600k W/ Noctua L9i cpu cooler, gtx 770, corsair hx750, and 3 hdds, and 2 ssds into this elite 120. How are the stock fans on this case ? Would it be worth upgrading to some higher CFM fans, if so what are some good performance/quiet options. I really do not want to water and would like to make sure I have optimal low temps on this system. I have looked into the noctua fans but its about 30$ for both a 120mm and an 80mm, would love any help !
  5. That sucks Hardware wise it would be an awesome piece of hardware.
  6. Has anyone ventured into Experimenting with this ?
  7. I dont Think I would go with the Dells, I dont really have 700$ to burn, more like 300$ for an xstar
  8. I have a GTX 770, and trying to Surround that probably wouldnt be optimal, I was thinking about selling the 24" and 22" on Reddit hardware swap. They are both in really good condition. Also I dont really like gaming on multi-monitors, I was more doing multi monitors for work flow. I do a lot of administrative computer work. If I was to go with am additional 2x 1080p Portrait Monitors, what should I go with ?
  9. I was contemplating 1 27" Korean 1440p Monitor to go with my 24" Asus 1080, and my 22" Samsung 1680x1050, or would anyone just recommend I keep my Asus 1080, and buy 2 1080 monitors that support portrait.
  10. I would wait the couple days and stick with the GTX 770, it is going to be going down in price about 50$ and it comes with 3 really good titles! That way you get a good gpu at a good cost, and 3 free 60$ games
  11. Hello All, I have been playing video games for quite a while now, and I consider myself pretty good at optomizing settings. However I have run into quite a challenge. Currently my desktop's corsair 750watt power supply failed out on me, so I am waiting for corsair to send me a new power supply which will probably be another week or so unfortunately, so currently I am stuck playing on Lenovo w530. Specs: Intel Core i7-3740QM (6M Cache, 2.8 Ghz) Windows 8 Professional x64 8GB (4GB x2) installed, 32GB max supported 15.6" HD+ (1600x900) LCD nVidia Quadro K1000m 2GB with Optimus 320GB/7200rpm HDD I am able to get it to load, that was quite an issue lol, Bf4 does not like optimus, it does not change over from intel graphics to nvidia graphics too well. So I disabled that and forced to my nvidia GPU ( Yes all please don't demolish this with "That's a workstation GPU and its not made for gaming" yes I know it was a school provided laptop.) Currently my settings are: All low, vsync yes, Resolution 1280x800 (In game), display resolution is 1280x800 as well instead of 1920x1080. Max fps: 70 Average is 40 Also I am receiving random crashes in game. Is there anything anyone can recommend for optimization or did I do the best that I can ?
  12. Has anyone actually used one of these ? If so would it be possible to use Noctua Fan with it, and has anyone tried this and recorded temps ?
