    Help

Have you tried using this: http://www.extreme.outervision.com/psucalculatorlite.jsp
  2. As other people have said it sounds like the ISP is throttling your line but not throttling direct downloads for whatever reason. May be worth checking to see if your router has any QoS settings that may be throttling your network but it sounds unlikely.
  3. You can get a service called Bonded ADSL in some areas. It's quite expensive but should double the speed (bonds two lines together so they act as one roughly.)
  4. Just to resolve this, the GTX 770 AMP! from Zotac does support 4k resolutions. For some reason they only mention the maximum DVI output on the manufacturers page. The display port is also 1.2 for anyone who's wondering in the future. 4k is supported by this card.
  5. If you've got another ethernet cable try using that. Also if there are any other ethernet ports in the back try using those as well.
  6. That would make sense. I'm not sure what powerline model you are using but if you haven't already it may be worth trying to reset it. Sometimes I find if you try resetting it while they are plugged into the same outlet right next to each other at the same time it'll find it faster. If that doesn't work, check the cable itself by plugging it directly into the router and using your laptop. If the cable works fine then it's probably the powerline plugs.
  7. I would say it'd be worth plugging the laptop into the wallplugs via ethernet not wireless to find out if the problem is with the plugs / cable or the router / desktop.
  8. Sure. I've not actually used the Rival myself but according to what I've read it has full rubber sides that should make it useable with most grips. As to the size, it's around 10mm bigger in both length, width and height when compared to the taipan. I hope that helps
  9. I'd recommend the Steel Series Sensei for FPS and it has customisable buttons for mmos. Also have a look at this http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/216854-choosing-a-new-mouse-new-mouse-guide/
  10. Have you tried setting a static IP address? Also try resetting the powerline plugs ^ ^.
  11. I've updated the topic with that, thanks for the input
  12. That would make sense. The surround option is mentioned by Linus here at around 1:30 as a means of achieving 4k through 2 HDMI cables however driver support wasn't available back in April because Surround can only be applied to 3 or more monitors. I was wondering if a new driver support would enable me to run it then at 1920 x 2160
  13. The monitor linked above apparently supports 3840 x 2160 which I guess is slightly less than 4k but is close enough for me. I'm no mathematician but half is 1920 x 1080. Again does NVIDIA surround support this as an option?
  14. So there is no way to use anything like NVIDA surround to create two side by side 1920x1080 resolutions on a single screen?
