  1. That's why I was looking for a guide. I'm a total noob when it comes to wiring etc.
  2. Hello, I want to have an engine start stop button similar to those cars use, but as my power button on my case. Would this be possible? Is there any guide on it? I've been trying to find one but with no luck. This is the type of button I'm interested in: http://deltasmartkey.com/wp-content/gallery/gallery/smartenginebutton.jpg

    Active subwoofer

That's why I want a SUBwoofer. Subbass is commonly around ~35-55Hz.

    Active subwoofer

Hey, I'll maybe have 10-15 people max up there and only looking to play music through a loudspeaker. I decided only to get one since we're prob going to be drunk anyway and most clubs run in mono anyway. Call that ignorant but I'm also trying to make it cheaper since I prob won't be using this so often. I doubt the B115MP3 gets as low as 45Hz so I'll prob add in a cheap sub with it. My budget for the sub I'd say is around $100, but I really need it to be active!

    Active subwoofer

I stated I'll be picking up a powered SPEAKER, the Behringer B115MP3 and that I need a subwoofer TO GO WITH IT. Edit: About the usage, I've got a french roof (around 80sqm) that I'd like to play music in every now and then.

    Active subwoofer

Hello, I'm not sure if this is the correct forum to post this, but I haven't got any account on any PA forums and was hoping you guys could help me out. Soon I'll be picking up a powered speaker, was going towards the Behringer B115MP3. Behringer doesn't really include the sensitivity and frequency response, but I'm thinking it's somewhere around 50/55Hz-20kHz. I want to buy a cheap active subwoofer to go with it and get those frequencies under 50Hz. Any recommendations?
  7. What I love the most about it are the specs and the looks. The above-average speakers are also a bonus but I'll most likely be hooking up some headphones to it.

  9. Even at 60% off, these are still overpriced. Gaming audio, eww.
  10. Yep, I got closer to the 280X and I can hear it now. I'm pretty sure my speakers are interfering with it. I also got closer to my brother's GTX670 and he also seems to have some. I googled "280X coil whine" and wasn't expecting to see so many cards having the problem. Now, I read this ground loop isolator can fix it. I can get one of those or return the card tomorrow to get a replacement, but I don't want to keep changing cards just to find out they all do it. or I could find a ground loop isolator. Can anyone recommend one? 6.3mm jack to 6.3mm jack. Maybe a link to a website shipping worldwide? Or should I replace it?
  11. The only thing I did is take the USB port out of my old laptop and plug it in the new system. I doubt the ports somehow got dirty. Also, if it's my speakers, shouldn't they be doing it every time? It's coil noise, I know it, it changes with how I move my mouse/around the map, etc. This is a bummer because I'll have to turn the speakers off every time I want to play something, and to do that I have to reach behind them and flick the switch...
  12. Oh, I just realised I forgot to add the PSU in the part list. Added now. It's a Corsair RM750. EDIT: Mods, I feel this is not the correct place to post this. Can the thread get moved to the Troubleshooting section?
  13. Hello, I've recently set my PC up and when ingame or running GPU benchmarks, I can hear a strange noise like Linus had in his coil whine noise demonstration video, except mine's coming from my speakers. Nothing wrong with the headphones, tho, and they're both connected to my Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 audio interface. I've read this could also be caused by the PSU. This is my first day using this PC, here are the specs: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2ztcQ My speakers are a pair of KRK RP5 G2 studio monitors. Been using them for a bit more than a year and I've never had this problem until now. How can I fix this? Is it doing any damage to my speakers?
  14. Hey, what do you mean by the expensive mobo? Would you recommend something cheaper like the GA-Z87-HD3? Does it still have good overclocking potential?
  15. http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/radeon-r9-280x-third-party-round-up,3655-6.html Thanks for the input, guys. I think I'll go with the R4.
  16. Hey guys, call me names for reviving this thread, but I didn't get to order anything on Black Friday as none of the items I wanted got on sale... Anyway, I'm thinking about ordering soon and this is what I have. The 350D Windowed is no longer in stock anywhere so I'll go with the R4. I also found a G.Skill retailer in Romania! PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks CPU: Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor ($219.99 @ Newegg) CPU Cooler: Be Quiet DARK ROCK 2 57.9 CFM Fluid Dynamic Bearing CPU Cooler ($74.99 @ NCIX US) Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD4H ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($179.99 @ SuperBiiz) Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($76.98 @ OutletPC) Storage: Samsung 840 EVO 120GB 2.5" Solid State Disk ($88.99 @ Amazon) Storage: Western Digital Caviar Green 3TB 3.5" 5400RPM Internal Hard Drive ($118.98 @ OutletPC) Video Card: Asus Radeon R9 280X 3GB Video Card ($319.99 @ B&H) Case: Fractal Design Define R4 w/Window (Black Pearl) ATX Mid Tower Case ($89.99 @ Microcenter) Power Supply: Corsair RM 650W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply ($109.98 @ Amazon) Total: $1279.88 (Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available.) (Generated by PCPartPicker 2013-12-20 20:26 EST-0500) I decided to no longer get a 850/750W PSU as I was going to crossfire in quite a few months, but I think by then AMD will have their new cards out and the R9 2XX series will no longer be available and it will just end up how the 7K series ended up, being sold on ebay for hundreds of dollars more than the original price. I'm also looking for opinions on the Caviar Green drive. I chose it because it stays cool and quiet. One thing: I was thinking, if I can somehow find the 350D Windowed in stock anywhere, I'll get it + a Maximus VI Gene. Good? Also, the only version of the 280X I can find in stock is the Gigabyte Windforce 3X version, but at full load, the fans are a lot more noisy than the DCUII ones. Is it still a good option?

    Competitive COD

lol'd. Cod is so damn easy. Take a "good" CoD player (your average 12 year old) onto a CS server and he'll get destroyed. Take an average CS player onto a CoD server and he'll destroy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ohtCzd697lc
  18. Hey, one more thing: Is it also going to be enough to drive an overclocked 4670K?
  19. I think Icemodz can do that for you. http://www.icemodz.com/
  20. Hello, Is a Corsair RM750 enough to power 2x MSI 280X Twin Frozr + a bit of overclocking, or is an RM850 required?
  21. Really? I get 70 on a 560M. A friend can achieve about 150 with his 660Ti. Are you using CUDAMiner?
