    Embarrassingly, I'm still using a Microsoft Wired Desktop 600 Keyboard and Mouse. At this stage the space-bar is shinny smooth and no traces of the ASDW paint/stickers remain. But I do have a Leeroy Jenkins battle-mat to go under both of them. And my low-end Sennheiser headset (PC 31-II) is good enough for now.
