  1. Damn man that's just shitty, I honestly don't know what to offer for help. I guess you could try to wiggle the pin around more see if it will fix it. I doubt it will, but at this point it's not going to make it any worse. Also check for any other pins that might be slightly off, you might have missed one when fixing the obvious one.
  2. Mans that's disgusting for prices, how much would it cost to buy some from a U.S or U.K store and pay extra for shipping?
  3. What????? Dual channel is always 1-3 and 2-4, that's really odd... Edit: Like on my board I have my 1 and 3 slots in use right now and I have dual channel. But if that's the case then just buy a new board, it can't be more than like 30 bucks now.
  4. Here bro, https://www.google.com/shopping/product/296997639878534598?q=1600mhz+ddr3+2×8&client=ms-android-verizon&sa=X&biw=360&bih=560&tbs=cat:1733,pdtr0:729181|729184,pdtr1:1740548|1600$1600,vw:l,init_ar:SgVKAwjFDUoKUggI3cAsIODALEoaUhgIhJ5qGhIRAAAAAAAAmUAZAAAAAAAAmUBKB7IEBAi3sSA%3D,ss:44&prmd=sivn&prds=epd:12520292940787908155,paur:ClkAsKraXx1PEgEXjN__soHqOzmRqjEiGGjFPHgZ1Lfoyb_GILYnxF6QyK1I470hZ62W3IMUpoyET4L9Mlln3uVcqESBlfKrOiJHQJAJjyvI_GXdcrLWr9UftBIZAFPVH709yw2T13ozJSWyOTt-eIyCg557Pw,cdl:1,prmr:1,cs:1&ved=0ahUKEwidmJbv6a7gAhUCTKwKHVCEA1oQgTYIrAY 20 bucks and your golden agian. If I were you I'd just use 8gb for now. I personally have 8gb in mine because I was waiting for ram prices to drop when I built mine. which they have, so it's the best time for it.
  5. Yeah man It doesn't take my much to kill components at times. I've killed a PC by literally sliding it across the floor the a new spot in my room. (it sits on a board since carpet is bad)
  6. Hey I just realized this, if you're 1 and 3 slots are still good you still have access to dual channel memory go get some 2×8 sticks for dirt cheap and you will never notice a difference.
  7. If it's still under warranty, and you can make it look like it wasn't bent you might be able to get a replacement. (They don't cover physical damage) I did this with a bent pin on my FX chip back in the day
  8. You probably toasted your board mate, next time don't remove it from the socket. It's a unnecessary step if you're just swapping cases.
  9. They are new ones the same kind I should of specified my bad. It's a small one but I can try it. At this point I'll test anything lol
  10. I don't think so, I used the same exact model in a older build and never had a problem in the same games.
  11. I'll disable it and try that next, I didn't think it was it because the whole system hangs with it but it's worth a shot. And tbh I did it because I heard Ryzen does benefit slightly from higher ram speeds.
  12. Hey guys this is my second post of this topic since the first one didn't get any replies. My (mostly) new PC keeps hanging up in games for a split second while having a distorted audio buzz. I've tried everything, checked for stability on CPU, GPU and memory both stock and OC settings, I have reinstalled Nvidia drivers (both sound and audio ones) I haven't reinstalled windows yet because I have important stuff moved over to this PC and don't want it lost in the process. I have never had anything like this before. And it's driving me nuts. It happens on games that hardly use any resources, and even once on the desktop screen. Please if anyone knows what's going tell me, I'm OCD so this is hell to me... Benchmarks used for tests Memtest 86 and Windows Memory Diagnostic (two passes both OC and non OC on memory) Prime95 with Furmark at the same time for 30 minutes. No errors found in P95, or any crashes in Furmark. Specs: 1060 (reused from last build that died) Ryzen 2600 DDR4 Corsair 2400mhz memory OC at 2700mhz at 1.25v (can't remember exact number) MSI pro b350m MoBo 2x HDD's in Raid 0 1x 128gb SSD Edit: oh and the PSU is a 1000w EVGA platinum so I think that's working just fine. Help me
  13. Too be honest sure you can get away with it for awhile longer. But you're probably already having sacrifice little things like AA(depending on the type) or render distance in skyrim or even lighting and shadows. So I'd probably upgrade when you get the chance but you don't have to race to it. Fortunately the consoles help make sure games don't get more graphically intense each year as to keep them running smoothly...
  14. Hello agian people, I got yet another werid one. Recently I upgraded from my old FX toaster due to the system dying.(likely VRM failure from oc)And I upgraded to a ryzen CPU so I basically had to replace half my build, only keeping my high quality PSU, Case, and my GPU. I've been enjoying it for the most part but I've had a couple issues I can't quite pin down the cause. I first had an Issue when I found out my GPU wouldn't hold stable at it's previous OC(Crashing and doing the same hanging up as described above), at first I thought it might of been a micro bottleneck from the FX chip that made it appear stable. So I lowered it some and everything was fine for awhile, until it did it while I was downloading and installing some games. Which the GPU wouldn't be doing much on. So my current thought is maybe my ram since it is the only thing being utilized heavily besides my HHDs. (My OS is on a new SSD so It shouldn't be affected unless the SSD itself is bad) But the reason I'm currently thinking itself the ram is because I have the sticks set at the speeds/timings of the next teir up. But I ran 8 passes of windows memory test and one pass of memtest86 and didn't get a single error. So I'm kinda confused by this so if anyone has had a similar issue and knows what's up please let me know. And as always thanks for taking the time to help. Oh and heat isin't a issue my temps stay pretty low. My Specs: Msi b350m Ryzen 5 2600 Evga gtx 1050 Ti Corsair Vengeance lpx 2444mhz(oc to 2777mhz) Evga 1000w T2 90plus rated
  15. That's actually pretty good, I'm guessing those were burn test temps. I wish they had decent tools for Deliding a PGA based CPU like my Ryzen chip, I could probably get close to 5ghz if I got a large reduction in heat
