  1. The Dell XPS 13 9370 and 9380 are incredibly similar laptops, primarily with the 9370's "up your nose" webcam being moved to the top in the refresh. I needed to replace my shattered screen on my 9370, but the eBay parts seller "accidentally" sold me a 1080p screen while advertising the 4k model. I found this out after finishing installing it. =( This got me wondering after a long zoom call last night where my friends inspected my individual nose hairs. Is it possible to attach a 9380's screen with the webcam up top, to the base of a 9370? Is there anything stopping me from creating my own Dr. Frankenstein's monster of a Dell XPS 9380's screen on to my 9370 base? I was taking a look at the iFixit guides here for the 9380, and the cable positioning, connectors, and hinge mounts are incredibly similar to the 9370's, but I haven't been able to find any concrete dimensions between the two models that would give me confidence to order the 9380's screen. While it would be a fun experiment, I don't necessarily want to be out 400 bucks just for shits and giggles. Is anyone able to help me find proper engineering dimensions that would either prove or disprove this crazy idea? Additionally, does anyone else have a 9380 that is willing to crack it open and take some dimensional measurements and pictures for me? Cheers, Simsyy

You guys are the best =)
  3. I'm not really sure where to put this, but my friend dropped off an old iMac g5 at my house. I decided to rip it apart and take a pic. I gotta hand it to apple for their layout and design. Just thought it was neat and wanted to share. Thats all!
  4. Sorry guys, College happened. I am studying animation while I am here though so I may be able to use this as a few projects. I have been continuing on asset building, and trust me, this project is definitely not forgotten about. As Linus and Luke switch up the WAN show and bring on guests, it will allow better stories and new characters to be introduced into the animated show. Thanks for all your patience, I promise episodes will begin to come out eventually. Thanks, -Simsyy
  5. Mini Update: I have been able to get a bit more work done, I have about 10 seconds complete now. Still going to go ahead and chug along!
  6. Because this hasn't been done a million times
  7. I know I haven't posted in a few days. I've been busy with my two jobs. I should be able to start working on getting more of the first episode done soon. Thank you guys so much for the positive support. I had some doubts going into it thinking there would be no traction, but you guys sure have boosted my confidence! Thanks!! :)
  8. Thanks guys for the support! Its been a long day getting this stuff put together, drawn up, touched and organized. Hopefully the train can start rolling soon and I can crank these out pretty regularly once assets get built, sets are drawn etc. For now though, its time to rest. Ill be able to start working again around 3pm central time tomorrow once I work the morning shift at my job. Everything LAA will be posted here for now, so follow the post to stay updated.
  9. Hopefully the next few days. Thanks =)
  10. That actually is a great idea for an episode. They kinda have mentioned it in livestreams and could be visualized pretty easily! Edit: Here's a little more progress on the intro. Can anyone guess what video this episode is from?
  11. I do tend to remember something like that in a live stream, I guess I gotta go dig later for that because just the idea is too good to pass up. Also, I finished touching up the character rigs for now. Gotta get started on set design, mouth animation, and other general pipeline shit. So far its been damn positive, and I thank you guys for that!
  12. Cameos may have to happen if I can do a custom script. Maybe later on if this gains traction. Thats the plan. Drift baby? Link? Just got back from RTX yesterday =) That's why they are a draft. Edit: Finished coloring and touching up slick's new head.
  13. Hope everyone else thinks so too! =)) Didnt believe you, went back and looked, laughed out loud. Well done sir!
  14. Redid the slick trace, this isnt polished but so far, I think it looks a bit more like him! What do you guys think? Edit: Fixed the crotches too because you guys are a bunch of 12 year olds :P
