  1. I plan on building a rig with room for improvement and my I fell on this ASRock H170A-X1 ATX LGA 1151 Motherboard, so I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this motherboard. Can anyone pls share their experience with this motherboard .
  2. I know, AMD phenom 2 is the CPU in the pc. AMD Radeon hd 6700 is the current gpu, it is ancient and bad to begin with. But I didn't buy it, my father did. The igpu will outperform the current gpu I have by a long shot.
  3. That may be a good idea, going with the igpu until I can afford a proper gpu. It would already be a huge improvement from my AMD phenom 2, so I should be able to get some work done. Thanks for your help:-)
  4. That might work, but I have 2 sticks of 2gb ddr2, a AMD phenom 2 and a PSU which I suspect of being capable of exploding everytime I turn on the pc, it is a pre build. And the hard drive can't be used by me either since it contains photos and such. We only have 1 desktop pc and a bunch of very slow and even worse laptops at our place. Which means that I can only reuse the case. So if I were to buy 2 sticks of 4gb ddr3 ram I would spend about €40. A decent PSU will cost about €50-80. And if I want any upgradability I can't just buy the cheapest m atx motherboard, which means I will spend between €50-100. That will be about €160. A Rx 480 will cost about €300. A €40 CPU won't be able to handle game development.
  5. So I recently started the development of my game on unreal 4. But my 7 year old PC can barely handle anything. So I want to build a new pc which can handle game development and some medium gaming. Can anyone give me some advice on what components buy with a budget of €500? I will use second hand parts where possible to reduce costs.
  6. I have a AMD Radeon 6700 hd, I REALLY need a new GPU.
