LOL to the NCIX link going to a Lenovo Y50 search.

Apparently Frostbite 3 engine used in Battlefield 4 is based on Mantle. Not sure how that works for Nvidia, whether the engine uses mantle for AMD and then uses directx for Nvidia GPU's on windows?

G-Sync is a game changer and required before we move onto larger resolution screens. Mantle is nice but without support from Nvidia and Intel will not go far, without that support it will fix one problem for developers only to create another. If it develops and Nvidia and Intel get behind it then it could be huge.

But I'm not gonna judge the next generation of APU/CPU till the actual product is out and being tested. Either they found they have a product that out performs the previous FX offerings or they will be renaming it to something else with the change in socket. It's a matter of judging what we have till there's something else out. 
 
Food for thought something about the Steamroller cores impressed Sony and Microsoft enough to include APU's based on them in the next gen consoles, just saying.

It's a lack of scalability in their Hybrid CrossfireX design. I'm hoping it's something that can be corrected or improved within the software part of the crossfire code, even better if they can get performance benefit regardless of AMD/Intel CPU used.
