  1. Remove HDD or SSD. Try to boot laptop and get in to bios.
  2. Hi. Download latest bios and put it on usb stick. Insert USB stick into laptop. When laptop boots and MSI logo appears, press DEL to get to bios. In bios find Advance tab -> UEFI bios update -> select bios from USB stick and press enter. This should help.
  3. Bezel will just snap off. You have to open it from the inside out. You can see example here. Starting from 1:55 Some times there is double sided tape at the bezel edge. You can use hair dryer to warm up the bezel. If LCD cable is loose, you me see picture on screen, but there is no back light.
  4. Have you checked if LCD cable is properly connected? Remove LCD bezel. There is no screws. Pic1 Remove screws marked in red. Pic2 Reconnect LCD cable.
  5. There is a dust on photo sensor or color wheel is not spinning at the correct speed. Changing CW index is temporal solution. Problem may come back. More permanent way to fix is to clean photo sensor. If cleaning won't help, change color wheel. I hope this helps.
  6. Hi First try this. Adjust your color wheel index in service mode. Increase or decrease number and see if it helps. Press (Power→Left→Left→Up) to get into service mode. If changing cw index won't help, then disassemble projector and clean color wheel photo sensor. 7. I'm using AMD MSI R7850 2gb card. It's very old and update would be nice.
