So i was helping my friend to build a PC and and his graphics card just came (RX 480), so i told him to put it into his PC and forgot to tell him to plug the six pin connector into the card and then he turn his computer on and a nothing turned on(not even CPU fan). He mentioned that the plug was missing and i told him to plug it in and still nothing happend. Then i told him to take the GPU out and tern the PC back on and same result. Does this mean that he has "fried" his motherboard(to use the technical term)?
ps. this was through Skype so i didn't have complete control over what was happening
