I think my ambient temp is like 25C in my room, I was just concerned since I hear people telling me their CPUs run at about 15-20C? Lower than their ambient temperatures...
No I was generally concerned, didn't mean to come off as braggy.
Just recently got a 1440p 144hz monitor, my old one was 1080p 60hz, and the difference is gigantic. When people tell you the human eye can't differentiate between those two, I call bullshit, either they are blind or just ignorant.
As for choosing between a 1070 or a 1080, it gets a bit more complicated.1070 is currently the sweetspot for 1440p, but after a year or so in new games your FPS might start to drop below 60 on ultra/high settings, this is where the 1080 has the long jeopardy. So if you have the cash and desire to get 1080 then it's a really good choice, having a G-Sync monitor means you will also be taking full advantage of that extra 10-20 fps you'll get above the 1070 instantly.
