  1. Hello I would just like to raise concern, So my computer would occasionally hang and this has been occurring for two months, so it would go by freezing randomly and audio from the speakers would emit a grounded noise. Then even after waiting awhile for it to 'unfreeze', it would still remain hanging with the grounded audio noise. My only way to resolve it is by restarting the pc. Any suggestions for possible troubleshoots or cause of the problem? If it would be likely to be software or hardware? Thank you Here are the specifications of my PC: Motherboard: Gigabyte GA Z170 XP SLI OS: Windows 10 64bit (Enterprise 1607 version) GPU: Sapphire Rx 480 OC CPU: Intel i6700K (clocked at 4.5 GHz) Ram: GSkill Ripjaws 8GB PSU: Seasonic S12II 620W
  2. Oh okay but really thank you for the help. I've been having this dilemma since yesterday T.T And about the PSU, it has a dent (long story short, it was drop at a fair height)
  3. UPDATE. The the graphics card can now be detected from the monitor and it's connect via HDMI from the video card's output. Thank you so much! T.T I just tried another PCE-I connector, and it seemed to work. So my only issue now is that the "Splash Screen" from the bios doesn't show up anymore and just boots directly to the OS, is there anyway that could be addressed? Also would you advise me to change my PSU?
  4. You have a point, thank you so much! I'll try it now.
  5. Oh okay, thank you though but couldn't there be another cause besides the PSU? One which I could troubleshoot right away. But thank you very much for the help (:
  6. How could it be the PSU though, I think 620W is enough
  7. ISSUE SOLVED! So I recently bought a Sapphire Rx 480 OC Graphics card, though the installation of this wasn't easy as usual. I tried to install latest drivers from AMD website ( version 16.10.1) though it didn't work since it only offered me 'AMD install manager' and the AMD Catalyst software did no good. But here's the real issue, every time when I boot and the 8 (6+2) pin PCE-I connector is plugged in the graphics card, my monitor (LG 23MP68 VQ) won't display anything even if the connection is from the motherboard it won't display anything. My connection is via HDMI. But if you remove the connection of the 8 pin and boot the pc again, the monitor would detect and display. Please help. I've already tried using Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) and removed everything but the display from the graphics card couldn't be detected by the monitor. On a side note, it used to work before already from the graphics card though it would show the boot menu or the splash screen from the motherboard. So I'm sure the graphics card also works. But for some reason my pc just started to have a problem with displays. Help. Here are the specifications of my PC: Motherboard: Gigabyte GA Z170 XP SLI OS: Windows 10 64bit (Enterprise 1607 version) GPU: Sapphire Rx 480 OC CPU: Intel i6700K (clocked at 4.5 GHz) Ram: GSkill Ripjaws 8GB PSU: Seasonic S12II 620W Thank you for reading this far! I hope I can be helped T.T
  8. Just had my first pc build and saved the space for that AMD GPU
