Yeh the cars my priority right now, but i cant resist upgrading my pc for christmas so i can afford to spend a little on it:P I would say im pretty good at buying second hand as every part in my pc is second hand lol. I'll see what comes up in the next few weeks, if theres a good enough deal on a new psu then i'm willing to pay a little extra to make sure i dont run into any issues. thanks for the help

I dont have a set budget, but im getting my first car soon and I'm quite stuck for money so I'll save what I can. Do you think It'd be worth buying a second hand psu or will I just buy new. I bought my current evga one second hand and I've had no problems but maybe it was a one off.

hi, from what a hear those recommendations are usually higher than whats really needed, think over 600w its safe enough for this card based on other builds ive seen, thanks

oh thanks for the help, im on a tight budget but i think ill sell my current psu and see if i can get a deal on something with a higher wattage between now and christmas.

Hi can anyone help me out, i just bought an r9 390x but i only have an evga 500w psu. Im currently running a g3258 at 4.6ghz and an r7 260x just fine but if i upgrade to my 390x and an i5 (maybe 4460) both running stock speeds will i have enough power? I wont be using the 390x until christmas so i have plenty of time to decide if a psu upgrade is really necessary. I've never used the forums so im not sure if I've done this right but thanks in advance if you can give me some advice.

I'd like to enter the giveaway. I'm using a powercolor 1gb r7 260x, it's the first graphics card I've owned and has been fine for playing counterstrike but I believe it is starting to fail as it shows artifacts. I decided that I would upgrade to a 470 next year when they are cheaper as I've always wanted to play battlefield on PC and there is a new one coming out. I'm currently saving for my first car so this would save me much needed money, and mean that I only have to upgrade my oc pentium g3258.
