also one more thing will the temps in the case effect the cards much since of the inclosed cooler and blower fan, I know it wont disipate heat inti the case but will it be effected, as my case doesnt have the best airflow, althoug the 660 never went above 72 and it was an open design @MeltyMoon

Very good point,i had my gtx 660 at 15percent fan in afterburner on idle,wont notice it with the headphones,and i suppose when i, playing sports games with controllers or friends those games wont even push the gpu that much

the 770 was 30 euro more,wich i know isnt that much but i was kind of stuck on money it was either 760 or 7950,760 was a good bit cheaper but i wanted 7950 to expierience mantle.And heard 7950 overclocks very nicely to 7970 and 280 speeds

Ah rite ok cool,i really hope its not too loud though,cus my gtx 660 palit was almost silent,one of my case fans was louder lol,Its a shame aswel that its closed of and blower,because improving airflow in the case will make little difference, Ill see what its like...If anyone knows would the noise be really noiticable? people describe it a jet engine lol ive had a 5770 before and that thing reved up so loud and was a custom saphre cooler

Well i got mine fairly expensive,i know for a fact its a good bit more than i should of payed initially 270 euro,as amazon was out of stock for a few weeks,and it was pretty much the cheapest card in europe with delivey,also needed it ASAP as i sold my old 660.I was intially planning on getting a custom cooler but they all sold out unfortunatley.I'll attempt to overclock it anyways and see how it goes,would yous think i can get it to around 7970 performance on stock cooler?

I just ordered a 7950 with the reference blower fan,cant find any reviews for it with reference cooler,anyone please tell me if it will perfrom well and will it be extemely loud like ive heard before and does it cool relatively well. Please post links below if you know of any reviews with the stock blower fan ( not the his one) the same reference as the the 7970 came with. Thank you guys

Hi guys, at the moment i have the gtx 660, (non ti),Im looking to upgrade to a new card and the card ive found that i want to upgrade to is the 7950,im selling my gtx 660 for 120 euro,and picking up the 7950 for 225, so only 105 euro difference. Would i see a noticable upgrade and performance increase over my previous card? Im looking at Amd cards in perticular because of mantle releasing soon as i do not have the most powerful cpu, but will upgrade it in Q1 next year (Amd phenom ii x4 925) . Im looking to play games like Bf4,Assassins creed etc, If yous have any other suggestions for cards please sugest them,but im not going to spend over 150 in difference,so about 270 euro max Thanks guys

Ok guys thanks,my mobo is probably as low end as mobos get lol...and i will not be overclocking my phenom because i have in the past and it overheated like crazy. I will most likely upgrade to an fx chip...probably the 6300 or 8120. Also is there big difference between 8120,8320,8350 and 6300...with next gen consoles coming out and im hoping multi core optimizations are made for games i think an 8 core proccessor would be the best option,even though i heard console optimizations might not transfer to pc hardware as some might think

Hi guys im running an Amd phenom ii x4 925 (yes i know quite old),gtx 660,8gb ram windows 64bit... My games seem to be runniing fine not max but mostly high.. would yous say my cpu is holding my gpu back on frames or is the gtx 660 mid range enough to not be held back by the phenom. Also would yous recommend me upgrading to a newer fx chip like 6300,8150,8350? (Im not going intel yet) Please no fanboyism and genuine answers Thanks
