  1. Thanks Just got to wait for that damn case, they say late 2016.. which I assume means any time after September.
  2. Thanks Cherry Dude, Toms Hardware is reputable, but those reviews have ultimately put me off. I would rather spend a little more and save myself a world of headaches. I think the chances of getting a duff model are too high for me and with this being a micro build and I would like everything to go as smoothly as possible.
  3. I'm afraid not. I've got my heart set on the Dan case to be honest. I'm pretty sure the i7 6700k will be able to handle everything I throw at it just fine anyway. Thanks for the suggestions though.
  4. I don't really want to spend 6 core money. I did look at this though https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01FJLA8NI/?tag=pcp0f-21 but I don't think it would make enough difference to be worth the price.

  6. Actually, after looking at reviews of that Silverstone power supply on amazon I'll go with the Corsair SF 600W https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01CR1XGTG/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=3JGALNPFMO2J9&coliid=I1RSPI3CWP060E&psc=1 The GTX 1080 on amazon is also a bit cheaper so I end up back around the £1500 mark anyway. https://www.amazon.co.uk/MSI-Founders-Graphics-DisplayPort-PCI-Express/dp/B01FTZEBQE/ref=sr_1_2?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1472123586&sr=1-2&keywords=gtx+1080
  7. Oh right, that should fit just fine then. I'm more than happy to drop to a 500w, especially seen as how it helps put me back on budget! Thanks for that
  8. Nice one! I think you're right to do so. The ram probably was overkill. Will that power supply definitely fit in the case? The Dan Website specifies the 500-LG I don't what if any difference there is. I'll definitely post some pictures. I hope it doesn't take them too long to get back in stock!
  9. Software I use can get very ram intensive, so thought better safe than sorry.
  10. Hi guys, I'm considering building a micro build gaming computer come late September.. I'm not overly computer savvy but here's a build I put together for it: V1.2 - Thanks to Vojta.Pokorny - Updated with Power supply http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/n7WDqk V1.1 - Thanks to Vojta.Pokorny http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/Ls2RvV V1.0 - Parts By Me http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/sQWXyf The reason & what i'm doing Lets face it, the Dan case is beautiful.. I want a high spec computer I can take around easily. From the lounge to the bedroom to the office. The computer will be used for gaming but also work. The work I do involves highly demanding programs such as Revit and 3DS Max. My budget is around the £1500 mark.. Let me know what you guys think, and if you can do better! Thanks! P.S I'm aware the case isn't available at the moment. I plan to start as soon as I can get ahold of one.
  11. I'd love to build something like this! Though a more realistic and affordable version. Shame the case doesn't seem to be available.
  12. Thank you. And thank you for all the help! I shall return to let you guys know how it all went! Pretty excited!
  13. Wow like that case! What is the difference between the Zotac GeForce GTX 1080 8GB AMP! Extreme Video Card and EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 8GB FTW Gaming ACX 3.0 Video Card
  14. Well it might be hooked up to my monitor, I'm not 100% sure yet. I just want to have minimal problems with current games and future games really. There are allot of up comming games I'd be looking forward to experiencing in full quality graphics.
  15. I have a spare monitor also if I do decide to lounge is too uncomfortable for certain games. What would you recomend I do to improve that setup without the monitor in the budget?
