  1. Will the google camera apk work with the samsung s9's variable aperture?
  2. Hi, does bfi half the refresh rate since it inserts a black frame or did i get that wrong? Also, is it noticeable at 144hz or 240hz? Are pro players using it or is it better to have a good panel with very little blur instead? Does it make sense to get 240hz to eliminate flickering (if it does help)? Thanks in advance
  3. Sup, Will a USB 3,1 gen 1 (5Gbps) bottleneck a sata SSD? And what about USB 3.0 or USB 3.1 gen1 with nvme compared to gen 2? Thanks in advance
  4. I'm thinking of buying some used 2600k in a bundle (120-180eur) (Gigabyte GA-Z77X-D3H) this one should be good but how do the other two compare Gigabyte GA-Z68XP-UD3 asus z77-a (pic attached) also, whats the cheapest air/watercooler for ocing (4,7-5ghz) and does 2166mhz ram make much difference compared to 1600? thanks in advance
  5. I'm looking for a new CPU and found these + models but didn't find any information about what that optane memory in the CPU does. Can smn verify pls? i5 8400+: https://www.newegg.com/global/de/Product/Product.aspx?Item=274-000A-003R3&cm_re=coffee_lake_board-_-274-000A-003R3-_-Product i5 8500+: https://www.newegg.com/global/de/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819117923&cm_re=intel_%2b-_-19-117-923-_-Product i7 8700+: https://www.newegg.com/global/de/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819117922&cm_re=intel_%2b-_-19-117-922-_-Product
  6. NVM I have found a kind of solution: simply launch Magnifier and minimize it. It'll reduce mouse size to normal and have no other effects.
  7. Hey Guys, So I set my 1080p monitor resolution to 4K scaled it to 200% and applied no DSR smoothness in the Nvidia control panel. This resulted in a sharper image because 200% scaling on 4k is exactly the same size as 1080p with 100% scaling, hence 1 or 2 (I'm not completely sure) pixel take up the space of the 4 pixels of native 4k (4 pixels instead of 1/2). However, by default, it's set to 150% scaling which would mean 3 pixels or so instead of one. That's why its blurry on default. In conclusion, setting a 1080p monitor to 4k with 2x scaling and no smoothing sounds like something everyone should do (if windows scaling would be perfect but that's another topic), HOWEVER, the cursor becomes fckn enormous. I tried changing it to a smaller custom one but didn't find any good ones. [sorry for the potato quality images. Screenshoting does not capture the cursor lol]
  8. nvm, I found a solution! you can change the 'color profile'' under ''chrome://flags/'' I deleted the cache and stuff, changed the color profile and it worked (EVEN AFTER GOING BACK TO DEFAULT for some reason...?)
  9. As you can see in the picture, chrome has washed out colours comparing to Firefox (and also Microsoft edge). Also, sometimes text and images seem less sharp in chrome. But why? and can I change it?
  10. Any recommendations for coolers to OC the i5 (~70euros) that won't make it more expensive than the i5?
  11. Can the i5 8600K @ 5GHz match the i7 8700 non-k @ 4.6GHz or Ryzen 7 1700 with or without OC Bear in mind that Ryzen comes with a cooler but ram costs more and Intel needs an am cooler and more expensive mobo. Also, i5 with delinquent cooler ~equals i7 non-k in price. Prices: -i5 8600k (269), -r7 1700 (282), -i7 9700 (320-330), -also, r5 1600 for 189 I play games, consume multimedia and work (lightly for now) on pc can smn clear things up??? Thanks
  12. So I found this Programm called Trinus VR where you can play your PC Games in VR on your Smartphone and wanted to let you know about it. Would be awesome if LTT could review it. My Question now is if it is possible to play steam vr games with it? If you have trouble setting it up just post below.
  13. I don't know much about Projectors but since this one seems good and also portable I will give them a second look
