I have an old amd 6350 with a 560ti running on it it only makes about 50,000 point per day on high. My i5 8650k with a 980 makes about 500,000 ppd on medium so it really just depends on what you want to spend.

I had 2 X 8GB not sure if that's your config or not just guessed. If you do 100% utilization you it does look like you do run up in the 600 to 700 range.

I have always thought it's fairly good. whats your cpu voltage I only come up at 501W for the load with a 780ti.

Anyone having trouble getting folding to run I'm new to it but I had everything running on 3 machines yesterday. Today only the 2 I haven't stopped are working I tried adding a 4th as well same issue it says "Requesting a work server assignment." any suggestions or do I just have to sit idle and wait forever. I let it sit for about 4 hours tonight and it never ran. Thanks for any suggestions.

This looks like a sweet projector with a wide range of applications it would be interesting to try one out. I'm in the process of redoing my basement it would be great to have something like this for a movie viewing experience.
