  1. hi! one of my friends is building a very high end pc with MSI suprim 4090 liquid and 14900k/7800x3d. we need a case to fit a top 420 aio, a side gpu aio tubes down and still have front vents. front 2/3 vents is fine for either matx/atx. i saw like some month ago a perfect case just what i'm describing but forgot which was it! thanks for any suggestion
  2. ####### fixed. what i was supposed to do but it was nowhere to be found is update bios with each update chronologically. this worked on the b550m-e asus tuf waiting for the shop which i bought the asrock model to see if they can figure that one out :)
  3. yes i plan to check with the shop tomorrow
  4. same problem on 2 different boards updated to latest bios version, i would exclude. pcie issue, connector? again 2 new boards have been tested. psu cables are correct, 4 checks 2 times each mobo. cpu doa is my thought too
  5. hi, × issue: i get no signal to monitor × parts: 5800x3d asrock b550m steel legend REPLACED with asus tuf b550m-e m.2 ssds (tried booting without each time) o11 air mini 3090 tuf 2 x 16gb hyperx fury 3600mhz cl16 corsair rme 1000W arctic liquid freezer 2 280 ×firtst attempt: using the steel legend board with bios update orderd from the shop, i got no post but the pc is running. also 2 red LEDs: CPU and DRAM. i did check if i inserted the cpu power connector to pcie but no, everything looks great. i did test the gpu and ram sticks in a different build, they work. tried: running with 1 stick, no ssds, clear cmos, removing the battery, shorting the 2 pins, checked thermal paste spreading, multiple monitors and cables, nothing. × second attempt: bought an asus tuf b550m-e, i did myself the bios update, everything went by the book. this has no debugging leds but again no post. everything else lights up and spins. is ithe 5800x3d dead on arrival? thanks for any help.
  6. hi, I have an Asus A17 2022 6800h 3070 with windows 11, igpu, gpu, cpu and chipset drivers up2date, and a Dell S3220DGF with it's simple software i confirm the monitor works as intended on a MSI ge73 8rf windows 10, what happens: when I plug in the HDMI the image on laptop shrinks a bit (normal when you connect an external display), i can head a sound notification, the dell app shows that the monitor is connected via HDMI yet i receive just a blackscreen. if i unplug it, i get again a sound notification, and "No HDMI 1 Cable The display will go into Power save mode in 4 minutes: if i plug it again back, image shrink on laptop, sound notification, and the display shows "No hdmi 1 signal from your device" , then "Entering power saver mode" then goes into blackscreen; this repeats over and over again. when i turn on the laptop with monitor plugged in, i get some crazy artifacts (see picture, i dont have that much lightbleed haha its just the photo) on the monitor screen before entering Windows then black screen hell begins again. is the HDMI connector dead? my laptop comes with a MUX switch, tried both igpu on/off. detect monitor function says "we didnt find other display" attached a display manager picture, advanced monitor settings sees the display. i'm out of ideas, please help. thanks!
  7. hi, i.m looking for a good case which would fit an aio top mount and another front or side mount tubes down (arctic liquid freezer 280mm + 6900xt lc strix 240mm) i really like the 011 air mini, should go for it? popular brands cause i.m in EU, size doesn.t matter, all recommendations welcome thanks
  8. hi, in task manager i get a 90-100% cpu load from svchost -> Windows Audio. if i disable old superfetch new called sysmain in Services, the issue is no more BUT i get no more sound. i found that if I disable the laptop speakers in audio manager it completely fixed this issue of high cpu load. these speakers suck anyway but this isn't a FIX. short question, why in the earth would AUDIO cause a 90% cpu usage for long term? i left the computer on for a hour, thought it was doing some update but it didn't. i start to hate windows machines more and more, i am a user from XP, might scrap this whole and move to apple or linux
  9. hi, can this motherboard deliver enough power to x16 and x1 slots to have 5 gpus connected to it? 1 on x16 and 4 on x1 (mining project) in past i've had some issues with another board, needed to connect 3 3090s and they didn't have enough juice (the mobo had IDE connectors i believe to receive more power, later on i got that right)
  10. sooo let.s see if i get this right: basically i buy a box full of 60 HDDs, and i must plug in somehow 60 SATA cables in a pc. these SAS controllers are actually some adapters to sacrifice x8 pcie slots or whatever to plug in those HDDs ??
  11. you didnt share the example, please? is it difficult to connect to a PC?
  12. can you explain a bit what is a sas controller ? basically i want to move the plots from a PC with high end processor, ram and ssd.
  13. hello. i was looking for storage ideas for mining Chia and i got over this: https://www.zones.com/site/product/index.html?id=105580483 Western Digital SE4U60-60, 600TB and i have a few questions: is it a pc after all? i see it was power supplies included but no details about processor or anything. is it just hdds and psus? i can see it has IO can i add a motherboard to it? which ones? what about adding ssds to it? there is so few information about it
  14. hi, can you share a trick how to restart a stuck computer remotely? i.m using team viewer to remotely check the rig but sometimes it gets stuck and can.t connect. useful things: i.m running a mobo which has buttons on it, the asroch h110 btc + something with 10+ gpu slots
  15. hello. here is my past experience with crypto mining: wanted to mine with 3x 3090 with asrock h110 pro btc+. mining with 1 was fine, 2 was fine, at 3rd the system did not power up. after a few days of searching on google i figured out how to fix the issue: i think that my mobo couldn.t deliver enough power to the PCIE connectors so i was needed to plug in 2 molex connectors in the mobo slots, as in the picture attacted. sold 2x 3090, now i.m rocking 1 3090 and 5 3060. question time! if i.m to run more than 2 gpus, am I needed to find a mobo with extra molex or pci inputs to deliver to it more power in order to run that many gpus?
  16. hi, 2 questions here: can anyone share a link from where i can download that dev driver? also, i heard that you need to plug some hdmi connector to make it work on risers. does ANY connector work? even this? thanks!

  18. please dont tell me i damaged my motherboard or something
  19. forgot to say but yeah i plugged both cables with the whole 8 pin connectors
  20. i meant, 6 for riser, another 2 cables for gpu (with all 8 pins plugged in) yeahhhh i guess i.ll trade the psu in for another.....dont know for wich yet
  21. hi, i.m trying to make this 3x 3090 rig to work for a few days the video shows starting with 1 gpu only on x1, 3 separate pcie 6 pin cables for each connector, 1 for riser, 2 separate ones for the gpu the same thing happens when I try 2 gpus, exactly the same mobo: asrock h110 btc+ psu: segotep gp1800g 1700W intel 2 core 4 th 8gb ram 6 pin risers any.. ideas? 20210202_232425.mp4 20210202_232503.mp4
