    This happened yesterday.

We need to make a presentation for a Chemestry project and some classmates of mine say they did it in Prezi.

Teacher: How do you present it?

Them: We have a link and we open it in the browser.

Teacher: You'd be better off doing it in PowerPoint, the school's internet might fail.

Them: But we have the link.
                  we have the link.
              we have the link.

We had a presentation on how to do a research project today at our school's library. When the presentation finished, we went to the computers to research for a project we're doing. Someone opens a browser and it doesn't work, so he starts saying "Hey! The internet isn't working!!! *my name*, come here!" I go over there and on top of the computer there is the ethernet cable, I say "Didn't you notice the cable?", he replies "How the hell am I supposed to know what that cable does?". I'm not saying people should know all I/O ports, but if they knew more than USB it'd be nice. I wonder what they learn in ICT classes...

That is my class, if there is white text on a black background they will either stare at it or freak out and start saying the computer has a virus.

Today I was in class and my teacher starts working on his MacBook. We were doing excercises and the kid that sits next to me starts this conversation:

    Him: Wow, Macs are amazing!
Me: Why are they so amazing? They're just regular laptops with nicer build quality, a different OS and a unreasonably higher price.
Him: But MacOSX is faster and more secure than Windows.
Me: Linux is better than both of them in both of the areas.
Him: Well, but Macs have an illuminated logo.
    Me: -.-'

I hate people who tune into the SD version of a channel and say "I can't tell the difference between this and HD"...

Many projectors in my school are failing and now they display colours wrong, there is one that displays everything in a purple-ish shade, when the colours are balanced.

In my schools PC's they blocked right clicking, getting properties of files is a pain.

I can relate to that so much. Whenever I start talking about PC's someone starts talking about Macs and then someone starts talking about how great they are, I hate when this happens, they start saying false things like "Apple has the best displays", "Apple has special, faster GPU's", "Apple has the fastest OS" *ahem nope *ahem... I can't stand it and most of the time I just go away until they've finished talking. There is only one thing I can say about Macs, they're pretty, but looks isn't everything.

I was at school and a friend of mine said he wanted to show me a game he had played in his mom's phone. He then downloaded it wich took a while due to my schools crappy wifi. When it finished downloading he showed me the game, flappy bird, he then started playing and it was laggy on his iPhone 4 (go figure). I had never seen flappy bird so I asked him: "Is it really that slow?", and he replied: "No, it's because the school's wifi is slow so it didn't download well, it causes 'glintches' ". I didn't say anything but wat? So a game is laggy not because of your 4 year old phone but because of a bad internet connection? Why would it be? It's so dumb I can't even think why on earth it would happen. Also 'glintches', really?

Dispite my efforts to try to explain to him why it isn't he didn't accept it. If it was why would there be an edition for Android, Linux, Mac OS X ... and not one for WP8?

I had a teacher that in one class back in 5th grade put his ears near our keyboards to listen to us type an to see if the sound is right. After that class I had one of the greatest laughs of my life.

That's a good one! I use my powers for good (mainly) on my school but I have thought about messing around with the computers but I don't get enough time with them, I don't have IT classes because I have music ones (I don't mind it, their last paper was about creative commons ). Even though I have found ways of avoiding their proxy and if I was to infect one of the computers I think it would be hard to detect because they use AVG 2011 and they are already full of them. One thing in common is that the IT guy sucks too, and if he doesn't I don't think he cares at all because I would go insane if I didn't do anything about the computers, I go bonkers when someone comes into my computer (especially little kids) and I need to check it for virus, defragment it, clear cache and history...

Me: "Depends on what settings I use, 80, sometimes 150, or more even"
Friend: "Yeah right, you can't get more than 120 FPS, it's impossible."
