Currently running a Dell U2713HM and I'm having a tricky time finding something that is an upgrade, and makes my wallet happy as well. I was looking at the Dell P2720D/U2719D ($450 taxes in) but it's basically the same monitor with smaller bezels. I can't help but feel that it's a sidegrade especially at 60Hz. After that, the upgrade path seems to go to 34" 3440x1440 monitors which are a bit too expensive for me at the moment. Interested in hearings any thoughts/recommendations etc. Maybe I should just hang on to it until it bites the dust?

Response time seems great to me. TF2/BF3/Borderlands 2 are the ones I play the most and I can't say I've ever noticed any sort of input lag/ghosting. Both mine are A02 revisions July 12 2011 was my 1st Dec 23 2011 was my 2nd

You're in luck. I've had the exact setup you describe for about 2 years now and I love it! I've had very good results with these monitors. Great for gaming, and the colors and viewing angles are so superior to my previous TN panels. I paid ~$200 for each including tax/environmental fees. No dead pixels and I can't really say I've had a single complaint about either one. I can't live without a Portrait/Landscape combo now, you can read almost an entire page without having to scroll.
