  1. Razer Blade Stealth, so i can sell it, and get myself a brand new gtx 1080 :).
  2. Yeah but, when the amp sends a 30W signal to the speakers, do the speakers use only those 30W, or do they somehow use that 30W signal and boost it to let's say 120W or smth? I mean, do i ever use whole 250W of my speakers? And about distortions, i can't remember very well, but i believe that when i used these same speakers on a stronger amp, the distortions where happening only after ~70-80% volume. That's why i'm curious about the question above. Maybe the signal the amp is sending to the speakers is weak for whole 250W ?
  3. Hi all, so i've been trying to figure out am i using full potential of my speakers. But the more i was reading about my equipment, the more i went into details, i got more and more confused. I don't quite understand the way all this works. So i have 2x Sharp CP-S7700 mk2 250W speakers, connected via AUX cable to an amp, Technics SU-V500M2, to my pc. I've connected it to my mobo (MSI Z97 gaming 3) which has this Audio Boost 2 tech. Now im pretty sure im not using half the power these speakers have, but they are still pretty loud. So i've been trying to calculate the power im sending to my speakers, but i don't understand the way this "pc-to-speakers" connection really works. What is happening where? And in my amps specs it says the power output is 30W + 30W, what does that mean? I went with logic that i just sum up power outputs. I mean for example if my mobo has 15W power output, and it goes to amp, which is 30W, is it 15+30W that's being send to speakers? Or is it those 45W / 2 for each speaker? And how does that apply with 250W of my each speaker? I've noticed that if turn the volume up on my amp over 50%, the sound gets more and more distorted. I assume the sound wouldn't get distorted if i had stronger amp? Sorry for so many questions, but i'm really trying to understand all of this :).
  4. just great well ty guys anyways
  5. Hi all, so today i've been trying to set my tv (that i use as my monitor) to work on at least 120hz. It should work on 200hz refresh rate, tho i can't go over 60hz in my display adapter properties. I've read that it could be that HDMI cabel doesn't go over 60hz on 1080p and that it's recommended that i try with DVI port !? Could that be the problem? Also while i was trying to do this, i've noticed i have 2 HDMI ports on my tv, and one of them is HDMI (MHL). Should i use that one, or the regular HDMI port (i didn't really understand what MHL is)? Can you guys help me set it to 120hz, if it's possible ? I've got GTX960 and the tv is LG 32LB5610.
