  1. Or wait for x99 and get a R9 295x2 and a Titan Z?
  2. Alright thank you guys. I think I have the information I need.
  3. So would something like editing photos be a good use for a FirePro? and Would an Economics major need a Xeon to crunch numbers or just stick with a normal CPU?
  4. Then if it's okay with you guys can you clarify for me when a Xeon and/or a Quadro would be absolutely necessary?
  5. I'm in a situation where I need guidance on a WhiteBox build. I'm studying to become a network engineer and I want to build a computer to use for work. It will mainly be used for looking at diagrams of network layouts, getting onto terminal to test networks/help setup networks remotely, and surfing the internet.
  6. I mean most of my storage will come later on down the road from external storage in a Drobo Box.
  7. I mean mainly my line of work will require me to make diagrams of networks and layouts and being on terminal to help out with installing code from time to time and mainly surfing the web.
  8. Would the Quadro really help? (not trying to be rude I'm actually curious)
  9. Yeah it is really nice. I thought it would be smaller to be honest, but the spacious size makes it nice to work with.
  10. Alright thanks man. I added that one to the build.
  11. The main thing I would be upgrading would be the motherboard, RAM, CPU and getting a newer version of the CPU cooler if it craps out on me before then.
  12. I need some help configuring a workstation build for me on my line of work. I'm studying to be a network engineer right now and I was trying to build an entry level PC to get me started, but then when I get a job in the field and make more money I can upgrade it as the job requires me to. It will be used to be a little bit of a game play computer for youtube if I have the time, but more than likely just for work. Parts List ----> http://pcpartpicker.com/p/QQQxRB Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
  13. haha thanks i have a job right now I was just doing this as an extra way source of money/for fun it won't be my main income source.
  14. What do you suggest I do if I wanna do both make money and help support the network?
  15. I have 2 questions: Q1) is bitcoin mining something I physically have to do? (Where I figure it out or my computer solves it and I can go make a smoothie or something and other stuff?) Q2) I found a system that can get me 1,000 GH/s from a company called Antminer. Is it reliable? Link to the system: https://bitmaintech.com/productDetail.htm?pid=00020140531103056245Ox3OpK1E0664
