Specs i7 4790k asus z97 pro gamer 24gb 1866 ram gtx 1070 1tb hdd 120gb wd ssd (new) 250gb samsung 850 evo (dead?) All drive hooked up but samsung 850 evo not detected on bios http://imgur.com/ayLK9iw So I was on vacation for 3 weeks then when I got home I was surprised because when I tried to open my pc, it was automatically boot on bios. My boot drive was the Samsung 850 evo and the bios wont detect it.. I tried all this and nothing works: Updating the bios resetting CMOS resetting Bios setting tried the ssd power cycle remove all other drives except the ssd I was very frustrated so I bought new SSD ,the WDC green 120gb ssd. Then I tried to install windows 8.1 and I was very surprised because samsung 850 evo was detected on installation drive list. here is the image: http://imgur.com/GWuRCL7 it said windows can't be installed there so I was hoping that it can be saved by windows repair by refreshing it but unfortunately it said the DRIVE WAS LOCKED? here is the image: http://imgur.com/eQeshEF I remove the sata cable from Samsung 850 evo and tried to install windows on the new SSD with no problem. when I'm booting windows with samsung 850 evo hooked up it causing me infinite loop on windows logo so I remove it and windows boot with no problem. Before I leave for vacation the SSD stats on SAMSUNG magician was, health is GOOD and it has 24TB of writes It was a hassle to RMA on samsung because they said you need the receipt of the drive before they will service you(i already lost it). I was disappointed because I thought to them was like Seagate don't need any proof of purchase to RMA their drive. So anyone is there away to save my samsung ssd? eveyhelp will be appreciated. well.. I'm gonna send this for RMA because this is hopeless.. don't care for anymore for the data ,just some games and animes in there.. BTW thanks..

Update: I tried to re-plugin my hdd then when it is booting up I hear *CLICKING NOISES then it doesn't spin up..does this mean it's already dead or just getting insufficient power from my psu? ps* Still ordering docking station*

Drive doesn't show up on device manager ,disk management and also on bios.. I can feel drive is spinning when system booted also it is warming up... I'll try to use SATA to usb cable but i don't have it now i'll try to buy tomorrow

All of my games are on steam yeah.. that is a shit ton of downloadable data and I have a very slow internet it is really a hassle to download one game with 50gb + dlc data it takes me 3-4 weeks just to download that, that's why I need to recover my hdd

I tried some method .. I connected my hdd then it boot perfectly fine but still not detected on my pc.. so I restart it again with hdd connected now BSOD occurs.. bsod says ''it found some errors need to restart to fix it'' ,so it can't identify what exactly the problem is..

So do you think it is not dead? I want to recover those 1tb of games..

Sadly don't have.. but I tried to connect my hard drive to another slot in my mobo but sadly I'm getting BSOD

Hi I have 1 tb seagate hdd for my games storage and 850 evo 250gb ssd for OS and Programs .. suddenly this morning my Pc boot very slowly it takes 1-2minutes to boot for SSD.. when it booted up I got Warning notification from Intel Rapid share technology it says to prevent data loss I click something on it... I don't remember what is.. then I go to diskmanagement and didn't saw my Data D drive so it's missing. Then restarted my pc now I can't boot it because BSOD that can't be fix by windows 10 automatic repair, So I tried to disconnect my seagate internal hard drive from mobo then it booted up.. so the problem is really the hdd , even if it is connected to mobo the hdd is not listed on the bios... Do you think that my internal HDD is dead? it is spinning and doesn't show any failing sign before the problem occurs.. it is very fast when in game loading.. i think that the intel rapid share technology ruin it or it is really dead? PS: this the warning from Intel Rapid Share technology.

cpu temp can reach 90c especially when playing a highly graphically modded skyrim..

Having this temp with H80i Gt on idle is too hot? cpu is not Oc, my ambient temp is ranging to 30-35c is this normal? f

suggestion for coolers? I live in tropical country what is the best cooler should I get? water cooling or air cooling? budget is below 100$

i7 4790k running oc @ 4.6 ghz cooled with corsair h80i GT , the idle temp is 45c-48c and at full load maximum temp is 95c(no BSOD). I un-OC the cpu and the idle temp is 40c-45c when full load is 75c-80c , the case have 2 120mm intake front , 2 120mm exhaust top.. still I'm getting hot temp , I already replace the thermal compound and still the temp. is the same.. The outside ambient temp. is 31c and my room ambient temp is 35c ... Is this normal ? or I should get another cooler? When I'm gaming I'm experiencing thermal throttling causing some fps drop.. based on the my room ambient temp. does the temperature is normal? I'm worrying that it will lessen the life of my cpu... ps(can't afford AC because I'm poor)

My current keyboard right now is Tt esport commander bundled with mouse , a cheap mouse pad without brand and the headphone is razer kraken chroma 7.1. Those peripherals design is so sleek ...
