So I'm in Toronto and I went to two giant thrift stores, a Talize and a Value Village. I didn't find much at Talize (though there were three Wiis in the display case, lol) but god damn I got lucky at Value Village. I found a Thinkpad T42. There was no power adapter but honestly idc. I also found a Keytronic keyboard (sadly membrane, but a very nice membrane board with almost no spongieness or anything bad and it feels very good to type on).

I'd love to find a ThinkPad at a thrift store.

Thrift gods shone down on me today. Nothing is going to top this short of another Alps keyboard or an old computer.
Though one thing I noticed...I'm worried the display is broken. You know how you can see a broken LCD even if it's not on? Yeah...rip

ThinkPad parts are relatively easy to replace as far as I know
