  1. Got it installed on my 980TI with the HG980 bracket. 50-60C under load with OC. Fan is laud but the pump is very quiet.
  2. It all depends on what type of games are you planning to play. IF its the mainstream ones like dota 2, lol and CS:GO then G3258 is far better than the X4 860k and its not even close. And both will struggle with AAA games. IT does not matter that the x4 860 has 4 cores the ipc of the chip is horrible and you will see no realworld benefits from the 4 cores.
  3. Whats your room temperature like ? I have 4790k and Dark Rock Pro 2 and even with 1.32 volts it wont get to 80c
  4. Just run x264 or Asus Real bench for stability its more of a real world stress. No need to run OCCT, Prime95 or Intelburn
  5. Nice chip you got there. Only 1.3 for 4.8 is golden. Anything under 90c is ok for synthetic benches.
  6. Correct , but the question was if the upgrade from 960 to 970 is worth it. If op has two options: first being to get another 960 and second to sell his current 960 and get a 970 then the obvious awnser would be to get another 960.
  7. For what? IT s enough to run any single card configuration today all the way up to 980Ti/Fury x
  8. If you still are on 1080p panel then no. 960 to 970 makes little difference. I would wait for pascal.
  9. that one is same picture quality and has no third party software what so ever. I suggsest looking into blurrbusters forum and then make your decision.
  10. Since i have owned two of them previously (different firmware versions), only get it if you mainly play FPS (CS:GO , QuakeLive, BF and so on) IF your more into mobas and rpg s dont. I have to warn you that the colors of this monitor are absolutely derrible out of the box and all of the pre sets are so bad that you have to manually calibrate to get some what decent image quality. And if you said your not of a big gamer i would suggsest looking for some freesync monitors with ips panels.
  11. Hopping on the bandwagon and have to say Smart Switch
  12. I think HWMonitor has not recived update for the skylake platform, because all of your voltages are way off. IF those were real +3.3V and +5V rail readings i would be very causios. Make sure you run latest 1.28.0 version , or try different program HWinfo64 and see how volts look there.
  13. I would get 16gb of ram instead of 32gb. Also would not get the H80i , very noisey pump.
  14. 1.792v is probably input voltage. Its fine. It goes hand in hand with VID voltage aka core votlage. Normally its good to have it 0.5v higher than your core votlage.
