  1. Sata port 5 is shared with the m.2 slot so that needs to be enabled Beyond that you may have a dead drive
  2. I don't think your far off. how I see it going down is NVIDIA just not releasing a new GPU to the "public" unless you sign up to Geforce Now. then NVIDIA can sell Think clients to the masses running ARM and the back end is High end Computers running "Pro" level cards. or the back end is a Arm CPU running a version of Intel Phi. with tech like PC Over IP and vmware Vsphere the switch would happen fast with FOMO driving it.
  3. I am surprised those benchmarks worked. 1. Those cards should by default be in TCC (Tesla compute cluster) and should not even be seen by task manager or any direct X or Open GL/Val can app or game. 2. They got to be running the Nvidia Grid driver for those cards to be set to WDDM mode to even run some of those benchmarks. Overall I am impressed as I got my Nvidia Tesla T4 in WDDM mode but it will only run open GL games (might work for Valkin) I need to find the fix for direct X
  4. Can I ask that the next time/any time you guys look play with a setup of this class you run Nvidia-smi screenshot it and post it to the form thead of the release please... it would help give some context to the viewers what your running.
  5. I have a Nvidia Tesla T4 waiting to go In a dell percussion 3930 1 RU workstation with a Intel 9900,16 gb ddr4,500 gb hdd, dual 550W power supply and a Nvidia T400, win 10 pro (likely going win 11 pro). I will be using that card mostly for video encoding and AI upscaling.
  6. From what research I did if you needed something that was easy to install, was willing to wait a bit longer but save a ton of power I would look at: Nvidia Tesla T4 (at 70W) or Nvidia A2 (at 45W) and only get higher gpu's if you need the vram.
  7. I feel like the capability of my Nvidia Tesla t4 is more flexible. i wonder if it will show up under task manager?
  8. Hello, i am looking to buy a display around the $600 range Canadian requirements: -24 inch display -Gsync things that would be nice: 144 hz (native refresh rate) the system i will will be driving it is based on dual 2080’s in NVlink SLI (cpu is amd r7 2700x) I have looked at: https://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX65193 https://www.dell.com/en-ca/shop/dell-24-gaming-monitor-s2417dg/apd/210-aizs/monitors-monitor-accessories I honestly like the dell displays... I have always found them to be good quality
  9. hi, i was thinking about from the pressing a power button to the windows desktop what happens. i understand the idea of P.O.S.T. but i have noted when i moved from a older BIOS to UEFI that boot times well overall faster it seems slower to start video output. i wonder what exactly happens. thoughts?
  10. en·thu·si·ast inˈTH(y)o͞ozēˌast,enˈTH(y)o͞ozēˌast/ noun noun: enthusiast; plural noun: enthusiasts a person who is highly interested in a particular activity or subject. "a sports car enthusiast" synonyms: fan, devotee, aficionado, lover, admirer, follower; More expert, connoisseur, authority, pundit; informalbuff, bum, freak, fanatic, nut, fiend, addict, maniac; geek, eager beaver "a railroad enthusiast" archaicderogatory a person of intense and visionary Christian views. Origin early 17th century (denoting a person believing that he or she is divinely inspired): from French enthousiaste or ecclesiastical Latin enthusiastes ‘member of a heretical sect,’ from Greek enthousiastēs ‘person inspired by a god,’ from the adjective enthous (see enthusiasm). so because i can't pay for a Theadripper i am not lover of the Technology, i feel what drives the technology is the people buying the Ryzen 7,5 and 3 that is where the lovers of the hardware live... the Threadrippers people are the Problem salvers of the world (the science teams seeking the cure, looking for the mathematical answer.
  11. hi, i am starting to dislike all Youtube Tech Reviewers because they have lost sight of one thing Cost in how they frame what the Hardware is designed for. What i mean is a Youtuber Classifying a Treadripper as a enthusiast level product. i would say all in all using the AMD Product stack as a example but could easily be applied to other lines of products that: AMD Epic- Servers/Datacenters AMD Threadripper - Workstations or low end servers (branch or small office server) AMD Ryzen R 7 -enthusiast class or highend gamer AMD Ryzen R 5 Medium or highend mainstream processor AMD Ryzen R 3 Budget Computer. AMD Ryzen Pro Office Computers but R 3 or R 5 can do that same job if you don't need the added options. what are your thoughts.
  12. hi, how would benchmark a video card not designed for 3D but for 2D like a Nvidia Qudro NVS 450?
  13. It's odd because it will post to splash screen jest not past it. if I reset the cmos it does go into the bios and it detects everything right cmos battery?
