  1. Traffic is traffic, treat it all the same. (not an US citizen) If there isn't a rule about 'thread all traffic the same' the companies will influence us, and in a way that would let the companies be able to set up a firewall. Yes in a way it's a rule that limits companies/us. But like the 'You cant kill someone' rule, which takes away our freedom (as wrong as it is to say). Removing the net neutrality rule would make the internet traffic unbalanced (in my opinion), and it would let me feel like there is a 'firewall of China'. Again I don't live in the US so the rules wouldn't apply to me (yet). But If it where this would be my opinion.
  2. I believe we have DSL, its a 2 wire connection. and a connector that looks like the LAN RJ45 jack but smaller

    New router

So we need a new router at home since we moved our router/modem combo into the fuse box room (to cut down the 20M 0.25mm cable) which was a horrible bottleneck. But now I wired a LAN cable below the floor to the living room and we need a WIFI and LAN access point there. We have a 45mb down and 10mb up connection to our home, and we want to be able to use the full potential of that all the time. We also regularly use a steam link to stream games through a LAN line and thus need at least 3 LAN jacks on the device with good enough speed. We have a budget of around €100,- and we live in The Netherlands. Also, we do have devices capable of 5Ghz, but most of them are on 2.4Ghz So I was looking for some good routers but I can't seem to find the difference between €70 and €130 like the Netgear Nighthawk R7000 and the TP-Link Archer D7. Are there some hidden features/specs I'm missing? and which one would you suggest, and what are your experiences? Here is a list of what I was looking at: Netgear Nighthawk R7000 TP-Link Archer D7 TP-Link Archer C8 D-Link WiFiDIR-859 D-Link DIR-868L TP-Link Archer C7 DIR-869 EXO AC1750 Netgear R6400 Sitecom WLR-8200 X8
  4. So I'm working on my own case mod (original an Antec 300 and is going to be a rubiks Cube) but I wanted to paint it white Now my question is how to I clean my case properly for a paint job. And what kind of paint would be a good solution. And would there be more things I should know about before I paint it?
  5. I really like how the new Razer Blade Stealth looks, and would be a proud owner if I could win one
  6. 60 on the old setup and 80 with the GTX 980 and multiple friends and internet tells me I could easily hit 200+ and since in my case my CPU runs at full speed I think its logic to say that would be the problem. Also when my pc is to long under load it crashes. especially with CPU tests (no logs found anywhere about this)
  7. I personaly always check a dutch website called tweakers.net which gives me awesome information and compartition about all products and also tells me where I can get it the cheapest
  8. Well I dont know if you read my whole story. but did that and my CPU is a huge bottle neck keeping me at 100% CPU load while the GPU is far away from what it could do. I'm running a Intel i5 3550 3.3Ghz from april 2012 on a 1155 socket I play games like Skyrim, fallout 4, mincraft, Just cause, L4D etc
  9. Well my pc is 4 years old and just got a GPU upgrade but as suspected the CPU is the bottleneck now. and I would like to upgrade that. but since there aint better chips for the 1155 socked I need to upgrade my motherboard to. I own myself a Antec 300 case which fits ATX boards just fine. I really like the software of my current mb Asus and would like to keep that if that would not be a huge problem. I was thinking about a budget around €350 (which would be 400 dollar) I need a internal usb 3 hub. 4 usb 4. and 6 Sata poorts Are the any suggestions / things I need to consider before buying? Also I currently run on DRR3 would it be wise to keep that ore do I need a bigger budget for more ram? I use my PC for video rendering while gaming with a 3 (around 1080p) screen setup. as GPU I have a MSI GTX 980
  10. I use the help tool from windows https://www.microsoft.com/software-download/windows10 it downloads and installs the files for you. so to answer the question. the programma did. I even tried a different PC to do this
  11. I downloaded and reinstalled the USB 3 times now. I start the pc, I press F2 for the boot screen I press F8 for the boot menu I click the USB (only one listed)
  12. So I got my zelf a new SSD and I want to make a clean install and make the SSD my main disk. I made a USB boor key with the tools from windows website for windows 10 (usb is called ESD-USB and is 3.31 GB) But whenever I try to boot it I get a bluescreen with an error called "0xc0000098". I think that I need to change something in my bios of my P8H77-V-LE motherboard to fix this. So my question is if anyone knows how to fix it? Specs Asus P8H77 V LE USB plugged in motherboard Screen plugged in motherboard New 850 EVO SSD 4x4Gb ram Processor Huntkey PSU Just a note. If I reconnect my old drive and start windows from that one its fine.
  13. So I have a system with windows 10 running on a small slow SSD. And I ordered a new and better SSD and I would like to put my windows 10 on to it. I got the legit windows 10 installed when I got it so I do not have a disk or the code key. I heard it is possible to upgrade from the old SSD and install a fresh windows 10 on my new SSD (and thereby destroying my old windows) I tried searching it on google. but either I'm finding a win 10 upgrade or a SSD upgrade with the original key. So my question is does someone know how instal a fresh windows 10 to a new SSD without the windows key on paper?
  14. Well as far as I know my motherboard only supports 3x PCI, 2x PCI-e 2.0 x1, 2x PCI-e 2.0 x16 and no PCI-e 3.0 x16 as for that video card. isn't that a problem?
