  1. Got me a Steelseries Apex and the lighting seems very weird. It doesnt seem to support every hue of color as advertised (16.8 million), Ill choose like a gold and it will stay yellow or a pink and itll be red. Also the light transition sucks. if i have it transition back and forth from blue and white it flickers. Is this normal?
  2. I tried the sfc /scannow command again and it worked!
  3. Lol that's what I was thinking. Wiping is my last resort option. Thank you for your advice I appreciate it.
  4. So just wipe out everything and install? I tried reinstalling windows with all of my programs and it did nothing. I've read places this has something to do with windows update failing . Maybe have heard this in a WAN show too lol
  5. Hey so I went ahead and turned my pc off this morning since I haven't powered it off in about 2 days. I thought 'why not'. Well I go to turn it on today and its not loading. It's stuck at the blue screen with a loading icon in the middle. I've booted into safe mode but the os was a thing very wierd. I also did a system refresh/reset. Also tried sfc /scannow and got the message that a Windows repair service was already scheduled and to restart my pc. I've run out of ideas. I have a lot of important stuff on this pc and its going to suck if I have to pull it all off another way or possibly even loose it. 6. fresh install of windows did the trick
  7. Ya unfortunately im starting to think thats a possibility. He seemed trustworthy and said it was his wifes card which she never used. He was going over to amd for better directx 12 support. I have a 6pin wire on the way
  8. Changed it out and not a difference. Hopefully the 6pin wire i get makes a difference
  9. Ok i have another molex strip. Ill find it and hook it up. Ill update you in a sec
  10. just kidding it didnt
  11. I believe since i disabled the iGPU, it has solved one of the problems, after crashing my core clock would get stuck at around 400mhz. Now It crashes, restores, and returns to its usual base clock. But still, I cant figure out why its crashing. Ive ordered a 6pin power cord for my hx750
  12. Could it potentially be a power problem? I cant see that being the problem as it crashes randomly while im on my browser not gaming, so im using very minumal power. I have the 6pin plug on the card hooked up to 2 molex connections. The adaptors were in the box and said gigabyte on the plastic so i assumed it was ok to use them. The 2 molex connectors i have linked to it are also on a wire with other molex hooked up to my fans. Just thought of all of this while typing lol
  13. Went ahead and did it and installed latest drivers. Restarted my pc for chances to take effect and as soon as my icons and such show up, I get the notification my drivers have crashed. iGPU is off, card is super clean, not overclocked, latest drivers, not sure what else there is.
  14. Will do. Ill update this post later today
  15. Thankyou. he was asking 200. got him down. As i type this my drivers crashed again lol.
