  1. those voltages dont seem right, even the min and max values are messed up. I guess we cannot rely on HW monitor on this one you would need to try measuring your voltages the old fashion way: with a multimeter.
  2. I meant the system voltages on the +12v, +5v and +3v rails Your core voltage seems fine tho.
  3. Try HW Monitor, speedfan or any kind of monitoring software. If the voltages are too low or too high then your psu might be dying.
  4. something like this will do: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834315422 dedicated gpu, core i5, etc
  5. it really depends on your grip I really like the corsair m65 pro, but i have a fingertip grip and it feels a little odd at times
  6. Ive been looking for a good headset after my sony gold wireless fell apart. Anyway, my current 2 options are the corsair void usb rgb or the hyperX cloud 2. the corsair looks good with the rgb lighting and all, but the hyperX seems to have better sound and features. Razer headsets seem overpriced around here so they are out of the question. comments?
  7. You must test each component separately. Try borrowing a power supply and see if it works, if it doesnt crash then change your psu. If the problem persists , try a different gpu. Just because your computer boots into windows it doesnt mean the psu is ok. We had this pc at the shop that it would boot fine(most of the time), but under any kind of load it would flick off. No warning, no crash. Fans keep spinning but no video. Turns out PSU was dying, I did the process i described above and it booted fine with a different psu. PS. what are your voltages under load?
  8. yes, windows updates could do that too. Also onedrive is known for hogging resources without doing much. IDK, boot into safe mode and see if the problem persist?
  9. Try disabling the indexing service on all drives
  10. what kind of games do you play? at lower resolution you lose detail, especially with objects in the distance. Say, if you are playing a racing game or a game with large maps that require sniping, try looking at the vanishing point and you will notice a difference. Same thing applies to 4k vs 1080p.

    Gtx 1060

the windforce version does not have led lighting, only the g1 gaming does
  13. yep, I believe thats the minimun for battlefield 1 so you should be fine
  14. @corrado33 Well basically most manufacturers (even nvidia) claimed their boards were compatible with wolfdale but they were not. Also, most 775 boards at the time the Conroes came out were not compatible with the core2 duos (or core 2 quads). Conroe Compatibility: http://www.dailytech.com/article.aspx?newsid=789 Wolfdale: http://www.anandtech.com/show/2363
  15. NO! especially for the 775 socket!! Ever heard of the wolfdale fiasco? Even the Conroes were not compaible with most 775 boards.
  16. lol what? it's on asus website as well http://edgeup.asus.com/2016/10/05/asus-announces-support-next-generation-lga-1151-socket-processors/
  17. z170 boards are now compatible with kaby lake http://www.guru3d.com/news-story/asus-issues-bios-updates-for-kaby-lake-lga1151-processors.html z270 boards add more usb ports and native usb 3.1 gen 2, thats all
  18. 16gb should be the standard, I mean this is 2016 right? I have 8gb only because that was all I could afford when I built this pc.
  19. if you dont mind waiting, get a i5 7600k
  20. yeah it is strange to say the least. I dont wanna say your gpu is gone, but if it doesnt work on a different system then maybe it is
  21. how old is your psu? could you try the card on a different system?
  22. then idk? try the card on a different pc ?
  23. it is a software/driver issue then. Remove all drivers with DDU, restart and install new drivers from nvidia website.
