komi1997's Achievements

  1. They RMA'd my friends MWE Gold fully-modular in 1 day, and he waited few days to import new one into the country and he sold it and got bequiet! Pure Power 11, but Cooler Master do got great RMA for stuff like PSU's, they'll probably replace it, before MWE Gold he had EVGA G3 which also gave him problems
  2. ? seems there is also Dagger Pro, 5 new Daggers incoming now I suppose
  3. FSP looks to have a new budget DC-DC PSU, but their naming is awful as always, Hydro Pro, come on, there are now 6-7 Hydro series by FSP by now...
  4. No, it DOES have RGB header(s), just not sure if it was 2 or just 1
  5. It's same price as bequiet! Straight Power 11 550W and Bitfenix Whisper 650W, and only 10 euros more than Pure Power 11 600W (I personally got 400W one and I am super happy), but this Deepcool seems to be a good deal
  6. He will be getting Asus X570 Prime-P confirmed it with Asus that it indeed DOES support ECC RAM in ECC mode. Another friend is getting 3900x, also stock, and getting MSI B450M Mortar Max to go alongside it, he doesn't need ECC so that mobo is just fine. One youtuber whose reviews I trust checked memory OC on Tomahawk Max and those Crucial Balistix stuff with Micron E-Die is running 3800MHz CL16 no problem, if your 3rd gen CPU can hit 1900MHz FCLK, if not it's pointless, better keep it 3600MHz, hope friend will have luck with Mortar Max and 3900x. Also saw comment that MSI B450-A Pro got no RGB support, but that is wrong, friend got it with r7 1700 and got a bunch of Kaze Flex RGB fans daisy-chained and connected to motherboard, think it got 2 RGB connectors, just no RGB anywhere on it, just like ASRock B450M Pro4-F got 2 RGB connectors and even 1 ARGB one.
  7. would that one be total overkill for stock r9 3900x and 1050Ti(not even 6-pin) for a friend? if it is what tier would you recommend at least for rendering videos mostly, firend is recieving some funds from state to upgrade his equipment, running on i7 3930k atm, but with crappy Raidmax Thunder 735W, that needs to go too alongside his old CPU/Mobo/RAM
  8. What are some inexpensive x570 boards (maybe even b450, x470 if you can update BIOS without older CPU) that will run stock r9 3950x(with aircooler in good vented airflow focused case) and support ECC memory in ECC mode? Something like X570 Prime-P, just I don't know which ones support ECC memory in ECC mode. Building a system for a friend in 3-4 months, most stores here in Serbia don't have any X570 boards on shelves need to order from importer to get them in enxt round which can take up to 2 months sometimes so would like to have a clear vision of what parts to use before end of February
  9. https://imgur.com/a/PtMGlSl found some shots of mwe white v2 internals on some chinese website, hope some actual review comes out, seems interesting for such a low cost(500w being 40-45 euros)
  10. as a MB511 RGB owner I agree, MB520 RGB got a bit better internal layout(same one as MB530p, while MB511 RGB shares internal layout with MB510L), but nothing major, but MB511 just kills it with airflow, I have personally gone a step further and got Noctua NF-S12A Chromax fans to replace stock fans and you get double the airflow of front fans("balanced" my ass, just RGB looks better on them) with less noise, and 70-80% more airflow than fan in the back(airflow optimised) while still being quieter 3600 LPX should also be fine, CL18, but other timings are fine, 18-19-19, while most cl17 marketed RAM modules are 17-21-21 which performs worse, and even some cl16 modules can be 16-20-20, manufacturers put 16-18-18 and 16-20-20 ones with same code thing, you need to read it off back of modules(impossible when buying online) to see what you got, Patriot is notorious for doing this, but G.skill also does it a lot
  11. I'm getting friend a Formula Gold 550W for his 3900x build because I don't like modular cables tbh and it's cheaper than Whisper M
  12. yeah, bequiet! PP10 500W's go for 40-45 euros where they still got them on stock, i paid 62 euros for my PP11 same week it came out, friend got Pure Power 11 600W later for 65 euros I believe (I remember 500W being only 5 euros cheaper) to replace his 2nd or 3rd MWE Gold full-modular 550W that had coilwhine with r7 1700 OC and RX580, before that he had Evga G3 750W which had coilwhine and PC turning off out of nowhere even with CPU not being OC at that time
  13. GOOD PSU can be only a unit ranked B+ and above, B ones are also decent, if you are on a tight budget get lower capacity SSD or something, don't cheap out on PSU and get your motherboards VRM section and graphics card ruined by high ripple, I'm running Pure Power 11 400W on RX570, right now this PSU in my country costs 50% of RX570 price, you must know what to cheap on and what not when building a PC
  14. If Delta is making it at moment in time you are buying it(not something 15y old) there is nothing wrong with it
  15. @LukeSavenije can you look into new Kolink stuff? Enclave series looks interesting, inexpensive(not necessarily cheap) 80+ gold, LLC and DC-DC, full-modular, there is also v2 KL series which is 80+ bronze and semi-modular (classic branded ones got fixed cables, not semi-modular) but it's not online yet even on their site, caseking got description saying it's DC-DC so it might be a semi-modular competitor to something like Cooler Master MWE V2
