Budget (including currency): 2000-2200 dollars Country: Australia Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Apex, Rocket League, Story based games such as Harry Potter and star wars https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/xJh63y This is the list I came up with. It has been a while since I was last building a pc and I am out of the loop so feel free to suggest any change. I would like to keep the price a little lower if possible. I would like to run 1440p and if possible keep the colour scheme white. I could really use help in the CPU, GPU and Graphics Card areas. I have found two g5 monitors for 269 per monitor and will probably choose them. Any help is really appreciated.

I am moving abroad for a couple months for work and I am looking for a laptop to bring with me to do some photo editing and gaming ( nothing to intense - smite, rocket league ). Things like touch screen is cool but not 100 % necessary, seems useful for photo editing, so I'm not ruling out 2 in 1s My budget is around 1000 euro and location is in ireland. Any recommendations are much appreciated. Thank you.

Nope plugged out both hdd and still it struggles to post with the m.2_1 populated Also changed pcie 1 to 8x8

No currently I have 2 hdd drives plugged in ill plug them out and see, when I have m.2_1 populated with the crucial i get a vga light on post also

No so I just want to add a new 1tb crucial m.2 but it is not showing in the m.2_1 slot even when it is in. I just installed it in the m.2_2 slot and it does show. Im trying to figure out why it is not working in the m.2_1 slot

Originally the wd was tried in m.2_1 and did not work but now it is m.2_2 and works but if I take it out I'm worried it might damage and then I lose my OS. I want to try my crucial p2 in slot 2 to see if it works but the WD is there. Since I put in the Crucial m.2 the gpu is struggling and I'm getting the VGA light on boot up. After a few minutes it goes away. Not sure if I messed something up as I had to remove gpu for access or if the crucial is causing an issue in the m.2_1 slot

So i rebuilt my pc about a 2 years ago now and upgraded to a ryzen 5 3600 and an msi x470 gaming plus max mother board. While doing this I got an m.2 ssd ( wd blue nand sata ssd 500gb ). I tried this in m.2-1 slot and it did not work so I put it in slot 2 which got it working. My windows is not on this. During prime day this year I picked up a 1tb crucial p2. And again when I put it in slot one it does not work. The manual says about no having anything in pcie 6 ( which i dont ) but it also says m.2_1 only supports pcie mode. Does that mean i picked up an unsupported ssd or do I need to tweak something ? Thank you for any help

Corsair RGB to Phanteks/Lian-Li/Light Strip JST-SM ARGB Adapter https://www.caseking.de/en/phanteks-neon-digital-rgb-led-strip-combo-set-40cm-2-stueck-mols-193.html so i bought these and the commander pro they should work together to control the light strip through icue right ? edit : i have checked and they should be 56 leds per strip as i will daisy chain two of them in each of the commander pro outputs so if im right corsair icue will do 60 if i put them as 2 corsair light strips right ? thanks for all the help

I currently have a msi motherboard and 3 ( soon to be 6 ) corsair fans which I control through icue. But I would like to stick some of phanteks neon rgb straps and link them all together to have the same effects. Is there anyway to do this? To link the light strip to icue even though they aren't corsair Thank you in advance

My PC : ryzen 5 3600 msi gaming max gtx 1060 6gb 3200 mhz corsair vengeance 250gb ssd wd blue 1 tb wd blue hdd 1 tb ( some laptop storage i needed in a pinch and never removed ) Current Fault- when trying to transfer data from an sd card (photos) to my pc i get an error that device is not connected all my fans flash white and computer freezes for maybe 5 seconds. i had a similar issue when playing rocket league on a controller when it was plugged in if i moved it it would freeze the screen completely ( turning monitor on and off didnt fix it or force closing it the app from my second monitor didnt work ) could this be a usb issue or is it a hardware or sofware thing ? thank you in advance for any help Edit - works in the back usb (motherboard usb slots )

Is there a big difference in picture quality between a 4k panel and 1440p ( i already have a 1080p 144hz that I use for competitive games ) Edit: I should have mentioned but I thought it was standard but the aoc monitor doesn't have a vesa mounting and I have my monitors on a dual desk stand

Hey guys I'm wondering what would be the best monitor for story driven games mostly on pc and ps5, I play most my esports titles on a 1080p 144hz monitor and I'm looking at using a second for casual games. My budget wouldn't be massive (~250 euro)(ireland). I'd appreciate your opinion on this. As of right now I like the idea of 4k for the amazing photo but I haven't really seen 4k or 1440p except for shop tvs. Thanks

In that case would you use a splitter off of the cpu fan header on the mobo or just hook one to cpu and the other to a system fan header

I'll definitely look into this so, on the other side ( or orientation) would the hyper 212 with 2x fans or artic freezer 35 with 2x fans work well aswell, and fit ?

And would this need much lateral clearance because my current ram sticks and wraith cooler are only maybe 2mm spacing

Hey guys ! I'm currently want to replace my current wraith cooler with a better air cooler ( i feel safer with air and for longevity). The main reason is the temps are running a little warm for my liking and I'd like to bring it down. My current case is the masterbox mb511( spec sheet quotes a 165 mm clearance) and corsair vengeance rgb ram. Would you recommend air over liquid ? What I'm looking for is A quiet cpu cooler Rgb if possible Lower temps and possible extra case fans for rgb goodness Budget around 100£

would it be worth getting something like the artic freezer 34 and replacing the fans with an argb cooler master fans ?
