My boarding house recently changed ISP. the new one requires to open a page and sign in, this is just like the one for the old ISP except now we need to keep the page open for us to be able to use the internet. This is a problem as my phone and laptop have very limited ram and CPU clock speeds that i would much rather use for my work and other activities. Also i have a habit of closing all tabs, even on my gaming desktop. This got me wondering if there is a way to run a command line program that can interact with/login to the page without having to actually display it. If this is theoretically possible, and someone can point me towards an article that can possibly help get this set up i would be most grateful.
Alternatively, if this is not possible, does anyone know of any browsers that are lightweight enough to no impact my device speed (mostly RAM usage), but can keep the logon page open.
