my apologies, with the cables i meant the fans, and all the cables that needed to be taken out in order to take out my heatsink. there are no cables connected to the usbs ports, it directly connected to the motherboard. thanks

i have a laptop acer predator helios 300 rtx 2060. i owned it for a few years now and it reaching 95c cpu while gaming. of course i looked into solutions and i thought it good to change thermal paste. i used the cooler masters mastergel pro to change it and once i popped everything back in, it worked wonderfully except my laptop’s left side both usb 3.0 ports are not working. i tried plugging in my mouse, a usb, headset, etc doesn’t work i checked device manager and it says everything is working properly. however looking at events it says device not migrated and i don’t really know what it means. i tried popping it open again and reconnecting all the cables again and no luck. any help? could repasting again fix it? should i call a professional? thanks for your help

my ping is only high playing fortnite and overwatch so far they are both about 160ping, i tested some other games like gta 5, csgo and apex legends and they have normal ping at 30ping.

Hi, whenever i game, it goes at a constant high ping of about 180ms, but while doing speedtest and calling on discord its only 5-15 ms ping only. downloading stuff also goes over 10mb/s second. any help?

needed a laptop that would last me for quite a while, i like to keep my games at 1080p60fps but i wouldn’t mind low settings. the 1660ti version has an 512gb ssd + 2TB hdd and 2060 has 256gb ssd + 1TB hdd. they are both the same price. i play mostly fps games like apex legends overwatch battlefield etc.

So, in my country, the prices drop a lot, making it getting the rx 470 8gb only 12USD more than the 4gb rx 470, so idk if it is worth it.
