  1. as in cast to a display? then you're good
  2. it depends on your workload i would agree with @191x7 but since the 4070 ti only has 1gb more than a single 2080 ti, i'd recommend the dual setup depending on what you're doing, you will see both better and worse performance than a 4070 ti just bare in mind that the single gpu setup is easier to upgrade in the future
  3. what do you mean? do you wanna stream or do you just wanna watch the stream?
  4. try putting your pc to sleep instead of shutting it down
  5. im pretty sure it works without an internet connection, you just need both systems to be on the samel local network
  6. moonlight/sunshine for local connections (moonlight on client and sunshine for host) and as @RONOTHAN## said, parsec for offsite connections (you can use parsec for local connections too but the color depth is lower unless you pay for a subscription)

  8. i had similar issues after a mobo change recently, i'd recommend a fresh install of windows
  9. since its working with one gpu then it should work with the second one, have you verified the second card works? (as @OddOod said)
  10. what resolution and refresh rate are you gaming at?
  11. this sounds like if can work (ONLY IF YOUR MOTHERBOARD SUPPORTS PCIE BIFURCATION) but even then, you won't have enough pcie lanes going to each gpu to make it worthwhile so try to troubleshoot why putting a second card in makes the system refuse boot do you have an m.2 ssd? if so place it on the lower m.2 slot(bottom right of board) so it doesnt take pcie lanes from the cpu
  12. as i said, usb4 carries a pcie 3.0 x4 signal, so you only have to saturate that to see a performance loss
  13. while the adapter accepts a 4.0 x16 signal from the gpu, it only spits out a 3.0 x4 signal over the usb4 connection, so expect about half the performance you would usually have (performance loss dependent on gpu and resolution, but definitely a significant hit in any case)
  14. hey there! i recently decided to upgrade my pc as my 3070 couldn’t really play games at 4k, so today my 7900 xtx arrived. so i plug it in, ddu the old drivers and install the new ones, and i go run 3d mark. it showed up as not installed so i messed around a bit with the sata ports thinking it was a connection issue( maybe they were nudged when i was putting the card in). after a few restarts i realize i had unplugged the sata power cables from my psu, i plug it in and Voila! the pc never posted again… i’ve tried everything, i’ve reseated everything and currently the system starts up but does not post, and the cpu stays cold to the touch. what do? system: ryzen 7 2700 32gb 3000mhz (4x8) asus b450-f gaming
  15. i got a 4k monitor back when i had a gtx 1070 (so about 5 years ago) since then all my games have looked awesome, with the downside being that you'll always feel your hardware isn't up to par, pushing you do to things like shunt modding just to get a bit more performance can't really say i regret buying it tho
